Moleskine's latest notebook lets users digitize doodles
In good news for old school jotters, notebook company Moleskine has launched a specially designed product that enables users to easily digitize words and sketches.
Dubbed the Smart Writing Set, the product consists of a Paper Tablet notebook, a smart Pen+ with a hidden camera that digitizes everything being written down and free apps for iPhone and Android users to store notes as well as share, export, edit and search for them.
The new product is easy to operate; after connecting the Pen+ with the app on a smartphone or tablet, users can immediately start writing in the notebook and a digital version will appear on the gadget's screen. The digital version can later be edited using features such as deleting, adding colors and other basic editing tools.
Priced at US$199, the product comes with a USB cable to recharge the pen and one ink tip refill. (kes)
