For
the third edition of the annual concert ‘Love Like a Movie’, Nigerian
singer Darey, who co-headlines and organises the show yearly, will be
inviting US R&B star Ciara to Lagos, Nigeria. This follows the
cancellation of lat years event, which could not hold due to the
shifting dates of the West African country's national elections.
Labelled ‘Love Like a Movie: Naked’, the concert is set to hold on
Sunday 28 February at the Eko Hotel Convention Centre, Lagos.

The first edition of the concert, held in 2013, featured former Destiny
Child member and current solo artist Kelly Rowland in a glossy event
featuring chic choreography, music and electrifying performances.
The second edition caused some controversy when the fee received by Kim
Kardashian, that edition’s invited guest, was revealed to be high,
especially for a non-performing celebrity.
Tagged ‘Naked’, the new edition is tied with Darey’s 2015 album of the
same title. Naked, the album, features rapper Olamide, who is expected
to perform at the event as well. Other Nigerian artists scheduled for
Love Like a Movie include Sound Sultan, Omawumi, Adekunle Gold and
Vector. Singers Yemi Alade, Iyanya and Simi are also on the bill of
performers.

The hashtag #LLAMNaked and #LLAM3 has spread on social media since
Darey’s announcement.
The concert name ‘Love like a Movie’ was adapted from the song ‘Like a
Movie’ off the singer’s 2011 double disc album Double Dare. In keeping
with the ‘Naked’ theme of the event, the third edition will feature a
section labelled Naked Photo Exhibition.
Celebrated photographers Kelechi Amadi Obi, TY Bello and Yetunde Babaeko
will showcase photos in keeping with the theme of the section.
