CHAPTER 1

MESSAGE TO THE CHURCH IN CAMEROON

 Arise, Shine;  For your light has come!

And the Glory of the Lord is risen upon you.  Isaiah 60:1

Dear brethren in Christ, I would like to draw our attention at this time, when the second coming of our Lord Jesus is nearer than ever before the fact that He is counting to Africa in general and Cameroon in Particular; more specifically his church for the ultimate redemption of  humanity. 

The word of God says in Mtt.5 14-15, “You are the light of the world; a city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lamp stand, and it gives light to all who are in the house”. The church in Cameroon has been in slumber for too long and God is reminding us to arise and shine.  He says, still in Matt. 5:16 “Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your father in heaven.” I believe that the church in Cameroon has hidden the light for too long and it is high time we bring it out and let it shine on our beloved country.

In this paper we want to consider the following ideas; Firstly, we will see from the bible how God has always been in control of the activities of all the nations of the world.  Secondly, we will see some of the reasons why I strongly believe that God is counting on Cameroon in general and his church in particular for the accomplishment of his end-time plan.  Lastly, we will examine some of the reasons that make me think that you and I are those God can use for this purpose. 

Israel is taken captive into Babylon.

From the word of God we are told that God called Abraham in order to raise a people through whom he wanted to glorify His name on the face of the earth.  But these people after having entered the Promised Land, persisted in disobedience to the word of God, until the Lord allowed them to be taken captives in Babylon.  While they were being taken into captivity, God told them that after 70 years they were to return to their homeland. After the 70 years had passed, God raised the man Daniel who sought the face of the Lord, fasted and prayed for God to fulfill his promise and allow the children of Israel to return.  In the book of Ezra I: 1-2, it is said that God stirred the heart of Cyrus, king of Persia to sign a decree allowing the children of Israel  to return to their homeland in order to rebuild the temple of the Lord in Jerusalem.

Jesus is born in Bethlehem.

The second example is the birth of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.  It had been prophesied by Micah in chapter 5:2 that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem.  But up till the time when Mary was to give birth she was still living with her husband peacefully in Nazareth in the North of Palestine.  What the Lord had planned had to come to pass; he had to stir again the heart of another heathen king (Lk. 2:1-4), Caesar Augustus, to pass another decree that the entire world be taxed; each one in his home town.  Joseph had to move with his wife Mary from Nazareth in Galilee to Bethlehem in Judea, the city of David; since they were of the family and lineage of David.  By so doing, the plan of God that his Son would be born in Bethlehem was fulfilled.

The Roman Empire Specialized on Road Building.

The third example concerns the Roman Empire which was very good at the building of roads.  The fact that Jesus was born during this era wasn’t coincidental.  The good roads that were built by the Romans were going to serve for the spreading of the Gospel throughout the world.  These are the roads that the Apostles used to carry the Gospel to major cities like Rome, Ephesus, Macedonia, and Corinth etc.

 The Geographical Situation of Cameroon.

Cameroon is situated on the Equator and also in the heart of Africa.

The Bilingual Nature of Cameroon.

We have just seen how God used the communication facilities of the Roman Empire to spread the gospel through the early church. He is still going to use the communication facilities of Cameroon to do the final spreading of the Gospel before the second coming of his son.  This is one of the reasons why there is a special favour of God on Cameroon. Cameroon is one of the most corrupt countries in the world, but paradoxically it is one of the most peaceful.  The bible says in Proverbs. 14:34 “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people”.  There is much sin in our country that ought to have brought judgment on us, such sins as: corruption, immorality, homosexuality, occultism, lies telling, crookedness, falsehood, dishonesty, witchcraft, and so on; but God has been all along patient with us because of his special plan for Cameroon. This is also the reason why Cameroon is considered as an island of peace in this turbulent sub-region. 

The Bakassi Problem.

We are still celebrating the handing back of Bakassi to Cameroon by Nigeria. I want to draw our attention to the fact that this is the Lord’s doing, and not man, and it should be marvelous in our sight.  This is not the first case that has been treated by the International Court of Justice. One of these cases, nearest to us is the one between Chad and Lybia concerning the Auzou Stripe (Band d’Auzou).  After the passing of that judgment, there was no international mobilization as was the case when the judgment on bakassi was passed.  This was another special hand of God on Cameroon so that the peace and stability he intends for Cameroon for the accomplishment of his will on earth through Cameroon may not be disrupted.

Prophesies about Cameroon.

 Here, I will like to mention just a few of the many prophesies that are out concerning Cameroon.

Firstly, we think of  GOBESKY, an elderly American Minister, with a prophetic anointing, who came to Cameroon for his first time and declared during a conference in Yaoundé in 2006 that he  saw a vision of Cameroon with a river of blood flowing from the North-west Region towards the rest of the country, that he saw a fruit tree growing very rapidly on the banks of this river and producing fruits very rapidly also; that some wild wind came from nowhere and blew on the fruits and scattered them to the rest of the country and beyond.  This according to him meant that there was going to be a mighty revival in Cameroon that will spread to the rest of Africa and the world at large.

The second vision still by someone who didn’t know much about Cameroon was by Steve Lightle, a renoun Minister of the World Wide Charismatic Movement, who purposely visited Cameroon because God had shown him along with his believers in Germany, a vision of the African continent where the map of Cameroon was brightly lit up.  When he visited Cameroon, he learned that some praying believers in Finland were shown the map of Africa with a finger pointed at Cameroon. This shows that God is in control and has a special plan for Cameroon.

The case that is close to us is that of Rev. NDITE Joseph of the Global Frontier Prayer Strike Force, who, along with pastor SONGKWE Jonson and a group of believers have received a vision for the forth coming Spiritual Revival in Cameroon and since the year 2004, have been going on a prayer crusade of seventy days doing partial fasting and praying for Cameroon throughout the ten regions of Cameroon.  They are on their fifth edition this year 2008 and the Lord has told them to do this for 7 years, after which there will be a mighty outpour of the Holy Spirit in Cameroon.

Biblical Indications of God’s Promise concerning Cameroon.

Another passage I will like us to see from the word of God concerning his plan for Cameroon is Isaiah 19:19a which reads; “In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt.” When the Bible talks of Egypt, it mostly refers to Africa. The midst of the land of Africa can mean one of the 6 countries of Central Africa: Gabon, C.A.R. Equatorial Guinea, the Congo, Chad and Cameroon.  Cameroon is “outstanding because its capital Yaoundé is surrounded by 7 hills like the other two prominent Christian cities of the World; Jerusalem and Rome.

God can use you and I

I, myself who is writing all this, I also feel very strongly that the finger of God is upon me, that he wants to use me in  a special way for the fulfillment of his plan in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world. Even you who is reading through these lines, the Lord is also telling you that you have   a vital role to play in this mission.  Just seek his face and he will show it to you clearly as he did to me.

I had never thought of going to school again after my retirement from the Army.  I miraculously found myself in the Bible school and while there, I received a burden from the Lord to create a political party. I couldn’t believe it because; when I looked at myself I found nothing of a politician. The Lord reminded me of his word according to ICor. I: 27-28 which says: “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put of shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the based things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,” I know I am all these, that’s why I’m convinced that God can use me to bring about a change in Cameroon for the glory of his holy name.

Have I received any confirmation from the Lord?

Despite all these words of encouragement the Lord gave me from His word, I was still not convinced that He is the one who laid this burden on my mind.  So I felt I should seek His face more deeply. So I decided to go along with Rev. NDITE on his prayer crusade throughout the country.    During this time of retreat, the Lord confirmed to me that this mission was from Him and he was counting on His church in Cameroon for its accomplishment. 

When I was embarking on this trip, the Lord revealed to me that any place I was going to pass through, He was giving it to His church in Cameroon; in the same manner  He told Joshua when He was about to embark on the conquest of the promise land.   Little did I know at that point that Cameroon was also a promised land as explained above according to Isaiah 19:19a?  It was this same spirit of the living God that inspired the writers of the Cameroon National Anthem to put these words on the first line of the chorus as follows: “Land of Promise, Land of Glory”.

Are you weak, poor foolish or despised?

If you can answer this question in the affirmative as in my case, then be sure that you are qualified to be used by God for this Purpose.  You have just one thing to do and God will do the rest. Just believe.

God is calling on you and I in particular and His church in Cameroon in general, to arise and shine for the accomplishment of His plan in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world. We have been called not only to shine but also to warn our country men of the impending judgment of God.   Our country is morally and spiritually on a   downward trend and if we don’t act according to the word of God, he will hold us responsible according to Ezekiel 3:18.  That burden He has laid on your heart; that idea you have in mind, that vision you bear for Cameroon, just go ahead and start realizing it.  Seek His face and He wills precise things for you. 

Are you called by His Name?

The word of God says in 2Chronicles 7:14 “if My people who are called by My name, will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin, and heal their land”. So, the Lord is waiting on His church in Cameroon to do what He has said and He, the Lord will heal our land of poverty, of immorality, of homosexuality, of occultism, of witchcraft, and freemasonry, of lies telling, of corruption and Embezzlement, of dishonesty, crockery and falsehood, of selfishness, nepotism and tribalism etc.  If the good plans of God concerning Cameroon don’t come to pass, He will hold us responsible. God’s patience is not without limit. In the same manner as His patience came to an end with the children of Israel and He sent them into exile, so his patience can also come to an end with us and He will allow His judgment to fall on us.

The Example of Jesus.

As we pray we must also act. Our Lord Jesus was a man of prayers, but first and foremost a man of action. The Lord will only back us when we do and not only when we   pray. That’s why I want to insist again on the fact that you start doing that thing the Lord has laid on your heart for the advancement of his kingdom, be it in the domain of politics, evangelism, intercession etc.

Another Example by Daniel.

As we mentioned in the beginning of this paper, God allowed Israel to go into exile with the intention of having them return to their homeland after 70 years. After those 70 years it took someone like Daniel to fast and pray,and to seek the face of God and remind God of his promise before they came to pass. That’s why in the name of our Lord Jesus, I am pleading with the church of Christ in Cameroon, irrespective of denominational barriers, all those that are called by his name; be they Roman Catholics, Presbyterians, Baptist, Evangelical, Pentecostals etc. to fast and pray as Daniel did for the fulfillment of God’s plan for Cameroon. There is a special measure of the grace of God available for this task, for this thing seems to weigh very much on his heart and he wants it done as soon as possible.  He needs our cooperation and our collaboration. There are also abundant blessings that go along with it in this age and in the age to come. We cannot afford to miss them. May the Lord help us.

The example of Kadesh Bernea

From all that we have seen, it goes with that saying that the church in Cameroon is at cross-roads, what we can call biblically as KADESH BERNEA.  This was the last town in the Wilderness before the Israelites crossed the Jordan into the Promised Land.  What God expected from them here was HOLINESS. The church in Cameroon at this point in time is found at its Kadesh Bernea. Cameroon is a land of promise, as we have seen above, flowing with milk and honey that God is about to give to his church in Cameroon.  All he expects from us is holiness and commitment to his word. It is not a question of denominational background.   All of us irrespective of our doctrinal believes, who are called by his name have a certain amount of his light in us.  God is asking us to bring it out and let it shine on our beloved country Cameroon.

The Church should show the Example.

I want to recognize here the ethical and moral awakening that is taking place at the level of the Powers that Be in our country at the moment. But let us understand that the ills we are facing in our society are spiritual and can only be eradicated spiritually, in other words, by the Church through the help of God.  That is why I believe that the way out of the present state in our country can only be shown by the church.  When I speak of the church I don’t mean the church as a body, I mean the individuals that comprise the church who have to mobilize themselves, some as politicians, administrators, lawyers, magistrates, medical doctors, business men and women, technicians, in short all the fields of life so that the light in us may shine everywhere.

CHAPTER 2

SECOND MESSAGE TO THE CHURCH IN CAMEROON

(About myself)

“For who is this uncircumcised philistine, that he should defy the armies of the living God?”   I Sam 17:26b.

After my first message to the church in Cameroon where I talked on what the Lord had laid on my heart concerning his church, I will like in this second message, still to the church, dwell more on myself. 

In the first message, I mentioned the fact that I felt I had been earmarked by God to be amongst those to champion the fight against the Forces of Darkness and Evil presently controlling our Country. In that paper, I was also trying to show that God has a special plan for Cameroon in his end-time agenda.  The Forces of Darkness and Evil that have exalted themselves in our country are standing as a type of Goliath who need a type of David to fight them.  We remember that when David was about to take on Goliath, he first had to remind himself of things that God had done in the past to prove that the same God would enable him fight and defeat Goliath ( I Sam. 17:34-37).

In this same manner, I will like to share with you some of the things the Lord has done in my life to show that he can use me to fight this Goliath that is threatening the life of Cameroon.  There after I will go on to say a few words on how I miraculously found myself in the Bible school where I received this vision and how up till now, the Lord has proven to me that it is from him.

Rescued from death of yellow fever

When I was a Gendarme officer in Mokolo (E.N) I felt sick of yellow fever in 1971 to the extent that I nearly died, but the Lord miraculously saved my life.  At that time virtually all of those who caught this illness, especially those coming from the south were sure to die.

Pass exam into EMIAC despite ill health

Though I didn’t die of this illness, it left me physically, morally and intellectually very much diminished; that is, I was left with less than half of my capacities. It was in this state of feebleness that in 1974, while in Yaoundé, I took the entrance examination into the Combined Military Academy (EMIAC) and passed. Still with this state of feebleness, I went through the intensive military training and intellectual work in this prestigious Institution and came out successful though some failed and others even died.

Still in the same state of physical, moral and intellectual handicap I went through all my careers as an officer, not in the Infantry but in the Gendarmerie until I went on retirement in 2003 with the grade of captain with 3 decorations.  I want to mention here that out of the 32 of us who were recruited in 1974 in our batch into the Military Academy, 16 are dead and 16 are alive.

It has only been by the special hand of God that I went through all this and I am now on retirement waxing even stronger than when I took the exam into the Military school.  Since I went on retirement, the Lord has been healing me gradually and now I am in possession of about 90% of my potentialities. I believe that in no far distant time from now I will be back on my 100%. It is the Lord’s doing and it is marvelous on my sight.                           

I Surprisingly found myself in the Bible School

While on retirement, I had no real intention of going to Bible school.  I was in Yaoundé doing business with my Mitsubishi lancer vehicle until one day it had an accident.  I left it in Yaoundé and came and stayed in Bamenda for two months.  During this time, the Lord made me to make up my mind to go to FGBI. Within the two months that I was at home, my retirement benefits were worked out in Yaoundé and by December ending I had my salary without any chasing of files.  Whereas, there are some colleagues that even after chasing, took years for their files to go through. In my case, it was the Lord’s doing.

Idea of creating a political party

While in the Bible school, in the first year, some funny ideas began creeping into my mind.  The Lord started telling me; to create a political party through which I will glorify His holy Name in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world. From the start, I felt the idea was so wild that I did everything to discard it. The more I tried to avoid thinking about it, the more it came back.  I then started praying about it and asked brothers and pastors of the Bible school to help pray with me. Instead, God was confirming the idea in my mind.

Among others I shared this idea with a friend, a second year student of the Bible School. After he prayed with me several times about it, he told me I should go ahead with the vision. But I kept on insisting to him that the idea was too big for me.  He then advised me to look for this book “God’s Generals”, and read.  I looked for the book all over and didn’t see it.  Finally I felt I should take a retreat and seek the face of God more intensively. So I decided to go along with the members of the Global Prayer Strike Force through all the regions of the Country praying for this vision. So after the seventy days of prayer around the Nation, I had the confirmation that this vision was from the Lord. In addition to that, the book that my friend had advised me to read, after searching for it vainly all over, I found it at last in a small bookshop in Tiko on the last but one stage of our tour of the country.  After I had read it, I was much encouraged.

Lie from the Devil after three days fasting

As a matter of fact, after the seventy days retreat, instead of being spiritually refreshed, I found myself so depressed that I felt I should abandon the project. This was surely an attack from the Devil. Thanks be to God for his Spirit in us, who advised me to take three days of fasting.  After the first day of fasting, an idea came to my mind concerning the problem I have with my wife. This idea was that the Lord has kept her aside and was giving me another woman who will suit my present status and my future vision.  I shared this idea with some leaders of the church who confirmed to me that this was true.  The next day I immediately took my marriage certificate, went and saw a lawyer to prepare the file for divorce.  On my way back, I passed through FGBI.  There I missed the pastor I wanted to see but met his wife.  During our conversation, despite all my efforts to convince her, she ended up persuading me that the decision I had taken to divorce was a wrong one. That evening, I had to phone and tell the lawyer to suspend the matter.  Why am I taking the pains to say all of this? It is to confirm what Pastor GODSON has said in his book “Your time for Divine Expansion”, that when you fast, beware of the ideas that come your mind, especially the first ideas.

Called, chosen and found faithful.

It has been during and after this time of fasting that the Lord has clarified me on many things concerning this vision.  The Lord has made me to understand that for me to accomplish this mission well; I have three tests to pass. In Revelation  17:14, it says: “These will make war with the Lamb and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is  Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen and faithful”.   Remember that the burden the Lord has laid on my heart is to bring down the stronghold the Evil One has erected in our Country and give God his rightful place.  The Lord  has shown me that before doing this I first have to bring down two strongholds, one in my personal life and the other in my family life;  In case I am able  to   overcome the two, this  will mean that I have been called and chosen. Anyway, this is how I understood what the Lord is telling me. Moses was called, chosen and found faithful.  I am trusting God to be likewise.

First Stronghold overcome

By the grace of God, this happened after the 3 days of fasting, the first stronghold in my personal life has been overcome. Praise the Lord!  This confirms the words Jesus said in Mtt.17:21 that “How ever, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.”  So if you have a problem in your life that prayer has not been able to solve, try some days of fasting and praying. As a matter of fact, as soon as I was sure that I had been delivered from this problem, I felt much lighter and more disposed to embark on the accomplishment of this mission the Lord has laid on my mind, something that was very difficult before then. God has not changed. What may be hindering you from embarking resolutely on that vision God has laid on your mind, may be an oppression by the Devil that you must identify and address.

I am trusting the Lord to help me overcome the next obstacle after which together, we will embark on overcoming the third and final stronghold which consists of fighting the Evil Forces of Darkness in our Country and putting God in his rightful place. Only after this, shall I consider myself “called”, “chosen” and “found faithful”.

Second Stronghold Overcome.

 The incident narrated in the above paragraph took place round about the month of   October 2008. We are now in the month of March 2010. In the last paragraph, I mentioned the fact that the Lord has helped me overcome the first stronghold of the enemy in my life.  I also said that I was waiting on the lord to help me overcome the second stronghold in my life, this time concerning my family. I want to solemnly say here and this for the glory of God that in the month of December 2009, He helped us overcome the second stronghold in our family.

As soon as this was done in the month of December 2009, the party was legalized in January 2010. This cannot be coincidental. It is now that I consider myself “called” and “chosen” for this task the Lord has laid on my heart for Cameroon. My prayer at this moment is that the Lord gives us the grace to accomplish to the best of our capacities, this gigantic task he has given us so that at the tail end we may be “found faithful”.

    Opportunity to seek the face of God more.

I want to seize this opportunity to thank the Lord for the program presently taking place in Full Gospel Cow Street entitled, “Breakthrough.” I believe it is a divine arrangement to enable me spend some time to fast and pray intensively before starting in full swing the implementation of this mission the Lord has laid on my heart. In fact, the Holy Spirit is ministering to my spirit that it has long been overdue and that I need to be more diligent in this task. I believe God that after this program of 30 days he will equip me with all the spiritual, physical, intellectual, moral, mental, psychological and financial means that I need to accomplish this exalting mission for the glory of His Holy Name. AMEN!  

CHAPTER 3

MESSAGE TO THE “UNCHURCHED” IN CAMEROON.

“The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their cry. The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to cut off the remembrance of  them from the earth”.        Ps 34:15-16

You need God:

            Some of you who are chanced to read these lines would be tempted to ask yourselves, why is he quoting the Bible to us when we believe neither in it nor do we go to church?  My dear friend, please understand this.  The fact that you don’t believe in the Bible and don’t even go to church does not remove the fact that you are a creature of God along with all that you see around you. The Bible is to man as the hand book of that your car, motorcycle or radio. If you took that hand book and threw it away as you have done with the word of God, I am not sure it would have served you this long.

            God in creating man in his own image intended that man should live eternally. But because of sin, man has to die.  Nevertheless,   all those who believe in God will still die as the unbelievers, but they will live forever with God in heaven.  Whereas all those who don’t believe in Him, after the normal death here on earth, will die a second death which will be an eternal separation from God in a place called hell, burning with unquenchable fire.

He is waiting on you.

            Not all of us can make it to heaven, though God’s intention is that all be saved. That is the reason he sent his only Son Jesus Christ to come and die on the cross of Calvary for our sins.  We strongly recommend to you, dear readers to reconsider your relationship with God and his hand book, the Bible, if you want your life to have some meaning. You, who have not yet surrendered your life to God, know that he is still pleading with you to come to him and receive free salvation through his Son Jesus Christ. So in case you ultimately die and go to hell, you will only have yourself to blame.

Your Spiritual being is more important than the physical

            What concerns us here most is not yet heaven which is a place of the future, but how to bring out our dear country, Cameroon from the moral and material misery we have found ourselves, which our leaders call “fight against poverty”.  God who has created us in his own image is essentially a Spiritual being.  The Spiritual world that surrounds us is more real than the physical world.  You and I are both spiritual and physical beings. The spiritual self or in other words the moral part of man is more important than the physical.  All that we can see physically, first existed in the spiritual before being translated into the physical.

Evil Spirits can only be fought spiritually

             For quite some time, the moral aspect of our individual and collective lives has greatly depreciated. That’s why evil habits like occultism, tribalism, homosexuality, selfishness, crookedness, dishonesty and so on are the order of the day in our society.  Most of us complain about our leadership. Let me tell you that they are merely a reflection of our society. All of these ills we have just mentioned are found at all levels of our society. I feel that those in power in our country are the best God has found amongst us.  So if we want to come out of our present situation, a total and complete change of mentality at all levels is necessary.  The best thing those of you who don’t believe in God can do for yourselves and for our fatherland is to turn from your evil ways to God.   Because He is the only one who can help you and I to overcome all the evil that is destroying our country.    All these bad behaviors are monitored by evil spirits and can only be fought spiritually. So only God who is a spirit can help us overcome them. That’s why our leaders have done all they could to fight against them without any tangible results.

  Necessity for a complete change of mentality

             The principles of God are universal.  As long as you put them into practice, be you a believer or unbeliever, you will succeed. That is why some unbelievers are succeeding in life more than some so called believers who go to church every day, but have nothing to show as blessings from God.  What matters to God is doing his will as he has prescribed in the Bible rather than   only believing.  You who doesn’t go to church, who knows the virtues that God advocates such as; love, truthfulness,  honesty, tolerance, kindness, forgiveness, hard work and so on,  if you practice  them, you will succeed here on earth even though you may die and go to hell.  What we are saying here is that to die and go to heaven is better, but to build a strong and prosperous Cameroon is good.  And to achieve this aim we must strive to turn from lies telling to truthfulness, from immorality to good moral standards, from corruption to integrity, from dishonesty to honesty, from occult practices and believe in the sovereign Lord, from self centeredness to respect of general interest, from laziness and idleness to hard work.  Without this total change of mentality, it will be difficult for us to come out of this state of poverty in which we are now involved. 

If our Leaders don’t change, they will be changed.

            As concerns the leadership of our country, I said a while ago that our leadership is a reflection of our society.  This doesn’t remove the fact that they are to blame for the state at which our society is now. It is the head that controls the whole body. If God has given you a responsibility at any level, you have to handle it seriously. They have neglected the moral aspect of the society which has led us to where we are now. There is this saying in French that “la plus belle femme du monde ne peut donner  que ce qu’elle a”, meaning that you can only give what you have. Our prayer is that they repent and change from their evil ways back to GOD if possible or at least to GOOD.  In case they don’t, God is certainly going to replace them with those that are ready to operate this change of mentality in their lives, this for the great benefit of the Cameroonian people.

CHAPTER 4

MESSAGE TO THE UNIFORM OFFICERS OF CAMEROON.

“Likewise the soldiers asked him, saying, ‘And what shall we do?’ so he said to them, ‘Do not intimidate anyone or accuse falsely, and be content with your wages.”  

Luke 3:14

My career in the Army

            I feel very delighted to write this article to you because of the fact that I have been a uniform-officer before.  I was recruited into the National Gerdamerie   in October 1969 and after training, I was sent to Far North where I served as pupil Gendarme-officer and later on as Gendarme in the Gendarmery Brigade of Mokolo, then Margui Wandala Division.  From there I was transferred to Yaoundé (pour raison de santè) where in 1974 I took the entrance exam into the Combined Military Academy (EMIAC) and passed and went to Ngaoundere in September 1974. From there to Kutaba and then to Yaoundé where we graduated in 1977 (Promotion Jeaunesse ET Responsabilitè)

I was transferred to Buea in the 24th Batallion of the Infantry and later in December of the same year, I was called back to Yaoundé to do the “Stage d’Application des officers de Gendarmerie”.  After the course I was sent to Mbanjock, then to Sangmelima and then Mora to open the Gendarmerie Company there.  From Mora I was sent to Tcholire.  The 6th April coup met me at Mora and amongst all the Gendarmery company Commanders of the Far Northern Legion I was the only one that was decorated with  “Medaille de vaillance en or avec palm”.  From “Teholirè I went to Garoua, to Yaoundé and to Buea where I received “la Medaille de la Force Public”, where I passed to the grade of captain.  From Buea,I went back to Yaoundé, to Bertoua, back to Yaoundé, and then to Douala,  where I went on retirement in 2003 with the grade of captain.

 God had a better career for me:

            Most of my friends with whom we entered the Military school are full colonels today. Naturally, I should feel bad for not going that far in my career in the Army. I thank God because he has a better career for me. If you read one of the papers I have written about myself you will notice that God wants to use me in a special way to bring Cameroon out of the moral and material poverty we are going through.  I have never dreamt of going to a Bible school. You military people understand it better how difficult it is for us to believe, not talking of going to Bible school after retirement and becoming a Pastor.  This is nothing but divine arrangement. It was in the Bible school that God laid the burden on my mind to create a political party that he wants to use to bring a durable change in our country.

It’s a good thing to be a child of God.

At this moment the arrangements about creating this party are still in the making but I believe God that what he has laid on my heart will come to pass.  The plans he has for Cameroon.  (Discussed in my other papers) will  come to pass. 

I encourage those of you who believe in God to continue to persevere in the Lord. It is the best thing you can do for yourself. For those of you who don’t believe in God, I advise you strongly to seek to know him and give your lives to him and your life will have more meaning.  You will enjoy life here on earth and after here you will spend eternity in heaven.  All the reckless life that we, uniformed people live in drunkenness, immorality and so on, doesn’t help. If there is one person in the whole of Cameroon who can tell you the truth I think I am the one because I have gone through all what you are going through now.

The peace we are living in is of God.

            I want to seize this opportunity to congratulate us for the relative peace that our country is living up till now.  I believe that we have contributed much to this, but I want to insist on the fact that this is mostly a special favour of God on our country because of his specific plan for Cameroon during this end-time era.  I advise you to continue to serve your country with more honour and faithfulness.  I also wish that you should be open to what the spirit of God is about to do through his church in Cameroon.

Be contented with your wages:

            From the scriptural passage cited above, the Bible is telling us to stop taking money from people forcefully and to be contented with our salary. This is very important and I urge you to hold to this recommendation and try as much as possible to practice it.  All the money we take from people through bribery and corruption is a curse to us and our families.  It is only now that I am realizing this and I feel I should warn you against such evil practices.  It is better to manage a little honestly than much crookedly obtained.

Necessity for a change of mentality

            With the present spiritual wind that is blowing in our country, I am convinced that things will never be the same anymore.  Those of you, who will start adjusting yourselves from now, will find it easy to pass from this era of corrupt practices, falsehood, and dishonesty, and tribalism, selfishness and so on to that of integrity, truthfulness, honesty, equal opportunities for all and respect for general interests.  It is only by so doing that we can hope of coming out of our present state of moral and material poverty.

You are the mirror of our society.

               I am very optimistic as far as the future of our country is concerned. I encourage you to be likewise. In any country the uniformed people are like the mirror of that society.   The impression strangers will have of our country will mostly emanate from you, so be as correct as possible in the daily execution of your missions.  Most of all should be God fearing and live your lives according to the word of God.  Bring up your family in the knowledge and fear of God.  Win the confidence of the population you are called upon to protect.  In short, operate a complete change of mentality in your behavior.  By so doing our country will know the real peace which only God can give.

CHAPTER 5

MESSAGE TO THE MOSLEM COMMUNITY IN CAMEROON.

“Jesus said to him, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me…” John 14:6

 Necessity for moral upbringing

             When I think of you the Muslims in our country, the first image that comes to mind is that of the first head of state of Cameroon.  He was a person that apart from being the head of state of Cameroon, he affected my life very much especially immediately after he resigned from his post as President of the Republic. At that time, I was a Gendarmerie Company Commander in Mora and he came there with the Governor of the then Northern Province.  Personally, I admired the reign of this man over Cameroon particularly for his emphasis on moral rectitude and hard work.  I   have been insisting in most of my articles on the fact that the moral standard of   an individual or society determines its level of prosperity.  The standard of prosperity that we have now in our country is a reflection of our level of morality in comparison to that of his rule. So my greatest cry is that we all do something at all levels to improve on our present state of morality.

 My relationship with the Muslims.

 But what concerns us here most is not going to heaven. Before going to heaven we have to first live here on earth.  What preoccupies me most is how to bring our country out of the present state of moral and material poverty. As I have already mentioned, you Muslims are trying very much to maintain a good moral attitude in your daily activities. I know much about you people for having worked in the North of Cameroon for long.  I have lived in Mokolo, Mora, Yagoua, Kousseri, and Garoua. As a matter of fact my wife with whom I have five grown up children is from Mayo-Tsanaga. 

Necessity for a change of Mentality

Though much has already been done by you towards the good upbringing of yourselves and your children, I feel that much still has to be done in order to get the best results possible.  Our country needs a general change of mentality if we want to build a strong and prosperous Cameroon. Evil practices such  as occultism, magic, sorcery, immorality,  dishonesty, lying, selfishness, tribalism, nepotism and so on are eating so deep in our society that if something is not done, we will have no Cameroon to hand over to our children.

Called by God to create a political party:

            I have never dreamt of becoming a politician in my life.  After I was retired from the Army in 2003, God led me to the Bible school where he gave me a vision to create a political party which he will use to bless our country.  After many hesitations, I was finally convinced that the calling was from Him, and that’s why I am now in the process of putting this party in place.   This party is called, Cameroon Party of Promise (CPP). God willing the constituent Assembly will hold on Saturday 01-11-2008 and everything being equal the authorization may be granted by March 2009.

Need to clean our political landscape.

              The political landscape of our country according to me is not very healthy.  There is a lot of confrontation, backstabbing, falsehood, lies telling, hatred, tribalism, and so on.  Whereas all the politicians in our country were supposed to be working for one common good, the well being, development and prosperity of Cameroon. That ought to be our main focus, not opposing one another.   The malpractices that we are experiencing in our country seam to take their roots from our political parties before spreading into the society, whereas the political parties are supposed to be institutions where Cameroonians learn good moral attitudes and how to work hard for the building of the Nation. The Western world is developing that much because of hard work, not idleness and drunkenness as is the order of the day in our country today.  I believe it is high time we change from such ways and practise politics of love, mutual understanding, truthfulness, honesty, and mutual respect.

            Inviting you to join us

            Most political parties that have been created so far seem to have been done under tribalistic umbrellas, apart from the C.P.D.M, born from C.N.U that covered nearly the whole territory. The S. D. F. comprises mostly Anglophones,bamilikes, UNDP, mostly from the North, UDC, mostly from the Noun, UPC mostly Bassa and so on. We see that such parties have not helped us much in the development, prosperity and Unity of our nation. So we need to come out of our ethnic tendencies and start thinking Cameroon instead of thinking Anglophones, Beti, Bassa, Bamoun, and Hausa and so on.   I have the belief that this party God has asked me   to create will be completely different from all what has existed up till now. There will be no question of buying people to vote for you.   

             I am therefore pleading with all of you Muslims of our country who have the welfare, development, prosperity and unity of our country at heart to join us in this endeavor and by the grace of God we will together build a strong and prosperous Cameroon.

MESSAGE TO THE YOUTHS IN CAMEROON.

“Now Joseph had a dream and he told it to his brothers; and they hated him even more”

Necessity to Know God

Dear young brethren, before reading this special message that the Lord has laid on my heart for you, I hope you have already read my first two papers addressed to the church and unchurched. I am very sure that most of you have been advised by your parents to go to church. I want to seize this opportunity to reinforce this advice, adding that a good relationship with God is the only means by which you can live a meaningful life here on earth and here-after.

State of poverty

            Some of you who have been following keenly the activities of our country must have taken note of the hardship your parents are going through in trying to take care of your needs. Most of you are even forced to go out of the country by using perilous means where some of your friends have lost their lives.  All this is due to the state of poverty our country is living for quite some time. This is not because our country lacks the natural resources and man power to produce riches, but just because of the selfishness and laziness of some of your parents that we are. I strongly believe that the reason for our present state of moral and material poverty is also due to the fact that the leadership of our country has much neglected the ethical, moral and spiritual upbringing of the society, the aspect which for me is far more important than the material or physical.   That’s why such ills like   occultism, immorality, dishonesty, crookedness, falsehood, selfishness, tribalism and so on are very rampant in our country.

Stop following our bad example.

 What troubles me most is that, you the youths who constitute the Cameroon of tomorrow are already indulging yourselves in some of these mal practices.   Here I want to strongly advise you to be careful. Remember that if things continue this way we will have no Cameroon to pass on to you.  If there is someone to struggle energetically against all these evils practices, it should be you because the Cameroon of tomorrow lies in your hands. It’s unfortunate that we your parents are showing you a very bad example but thanks be to God for raising some few who can tell you the truth and try to warn against these bad behaviors.

Necessity for change of mentality:

            What we are trying to say here is that it’s high time we all operate a complete change of mentality at all levels of our society. In the place of hatred and strife, we have to encourage love and understanding, high moral qualities have to replace immorality, honesty in place of dishonesty, respect of general interest in place of self centeredness etc. Without this radical change of mentality, it will be difficult to come out of our present state.

Still insisting on knowing God

            As you must have noticed from my other messages, God has a special plan for Cameroon in his end-time plan for humanity. He is counting a lot on the church in Cameroon to realize this plan.  Those of you who are already in the church, I encourage you to hold fast on your Christian believe and cultivate your spiritual life with as much attention as possible. Those of you who have not yet given your lives to God, I advise you strongly to do so as soon as possible. This is for your success here on earth and after. From the way things are going, I am foreseeing that in the near future, mostly those with high moral standards will have a say in the running of the affairs of our country.  So if any of you is aspiring for any important place of responsibility in the future, it is high time for you to start working on your moral and spiritual standards.  The development and prosperity of our fatherland highly depends on these qualities.

Have a dream.

I encourage all of you to have a dream, nurse a burden of what you want to become tomorrow.  If you don’t have one, pray and ask God to give you one. You can read from the Bible passage above that Joseph, one of the youngest sons of Jacob had a dream and it was that dream that made him become the PM of Egypt, the world power of it time. If you have a dream, you will not live carelessly.  The Bible says “where there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint; but happy is he who keeps the law”. Proverbs 29:18. So dear friends, when your life is not directed by God you live carelessly and you are not focused. As soon as God gives you a dream, believe in it, pray about it, think about it, and take it to everywhere you go, ask God to help you realize it and he will do it.

Disturbances of last February

            The disturbances that took place in our country last February were very unfortunate. I strongly condemn such an attitude. Violence is not the good means of solving a problem no matter its amplitude. The   best way of doing it is through dialogue and mutual understanding. I urge you in the name of our Lord never to behave that way anymore. Problems, misunderstandings and even abuses will always occur; the best way to settle them is by channeling your grievances to the right quarters according to the rules and regulations in force.  Even if you have done all that is possible without a solution, it’s advisable to continue to seek a peaceful solution than resorting to violence. We your parents will also learn to respond to you, but in the right way, Violence will only destroy the patrimony that we, your parents are struggling to leave with you.

Motor-Cycle Riders 

            We understand that most of you are becoming frustrated because of the fact that you have finished your studies and cannot find something to do because of the rampant state of poverty that has stricken our country.  This state of things has made some of you to adapt a sulky attitude that you carry around even on your motor bikes.  By so doing, some of you go around with an air of intimidation, indiscipline and disorder.  This irresponsible behavior has been the cause of many accidents that has caused untimely deaths and unnecessary injuries. This way of doing things is not helpful to any of us but portrays a negative image of our society especially to strangers.  It is advisable to avoid such behaviors and adapt a more responsible, polite and respectful attitude in your daily activities. When you behave this way, you will have our approval as your parents and even God will bless you and you will succeed better in your efforts. But if you continue in your indiscipline, and disorder, we your parents will not be happy with you, God will be disappointed with you and all your efforts will be in vain.

I see a bright future for Cameroon:

              I am of the opinion that God has a very good plan for Cameroon.  There is a bright future in perspective for our country Cameroon.  Try to be positive in your attitude and be hard working. Its only hard work and good moral attitude that will bring about development and prosperity to our country. Those of you who know a bit of the word of God can attest that God has always been in control of the affairs of the world since its creation.  As mentioned above, he has a special plan for Cameroon at this very point in time.  He is about to use our country as a base to reach out to other African countries and the world at large. So he is poised to bless us abundantly. In fact our country has already been abundantly blessed with many natural resources which are only waiting to be tapped. We are just praying that he gives us a good leadership so that when time comes these riches may not be swindled away by unscrupulous and selfish leaders.  This is the reason we are clamoring for a complete change of our mentality and adapting a more responsible and God-fearing attitude.  It is only by so doing that we can build a strong and prosperous Cameroon without which  we will continue to suffer in this state of poverty for which we will only have ourselves to blame.

REVELATIONS ABOUT CAMEROON

CHAPTER 7

CAMEROON, A “LAND OF PROMISE?”

“In that day they will be altar to the Lord in the midst of the land of Egypt,”

Is. 19:19a:

Some Few Questions:

            I was asking myself whether the fact that three consecutive visits have been made by a Pope to Cameroon during the last 24 years was merely a coincidence.  Another question I am asking myself concerns the statement made by Pope Benedict the 16th during his last visit to Cameroon. If I have not mistaken I heard him say that Cameroon is a promised land.  In this same line, those who were inspired to write the Cameroon National Anthem also termed Cameroon,  a land of Promise “Land of Promise, –Land of Glory.”   Are all these coincidences? 

Truly Cameroon is a Promised Land.

In the Biblical passage quoted above it is said that in that day there will be an alter to the Lord in the heart of Egypt.  In one of my papers I have also tried to explain why I believe this passage is referring to Cameroon. If this is the case, we can attempt to come out with the following conclusions.

That the three consecutive visits of Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI to Cameroon were a clear sign that God has a special plan for Cameroon.

That the assertion in the Cameroon National Anthem, reiterated by Pope Benedict XVI that Cameroon is a Promised Land is a fact.

            In one of my previous papers, I remember having mentioned the fact that Cameroon is a promised land.

Similarities between Cameroon and Canaan:

            I can see two main similarities between the Promised Land of the Israelites, the church in the wilderness and the Promised Land in the heart of Egypt, the church in Cameroon.

            As was the case with Canaan, God wanted to exalt his holy Name and demonstrated to all the Nations of the then world that he was the only Living God, the God of heaven.

            According to the passage in Isaiah, 19:19a, God wants to lift up his holy Name in Cameroon the heart of Africa, in African as a whole and demonstrate to the present world that he is the living God and that He is in control of everything..

            In the case of Canaan, the Bible says that heathen Nations had erected alters to their gods in this Promised Land.

As for Cameroon, we see that occultism, amorc, sorcery, witchcraft and all sorts of magic practices have gained much ground in our country.

Our Prayers have reached Heaven.

            In the same manner as the cries of the Israelites in Egypt reached the ears of God and He came down through the person of Moses to Liberate his people and take them to the Promised Land, the prayers of the church in Cameroon has reached heaven and God has come down through this political party, the “Cameroon Party of Promise,” to Liberate Cameroon from the hands of the evil ones.

The Mixed Multitude

In the same manner as the children of Israel, when they left Egypt, they were accompanied by a great multitude of non- Jews who believed in the God of the Israelites, we are sure and certain that Cameroonians of goodwill, who are none Christians will not hesitate to join us in our endeavour to come out of this Egypt where we have been enslaved for so long. After all everybody is feeling the pinch.

Change of Mentality:

To be able to achieve this aim, we have to operate a total revolution in our personal attitudes and behaviour for, contrary to what most of us think, the solution to our problem is not going to come from the other person, but from each and every one of us through a personal and radical change of mentality.

Brain   Drain

As we have mentioned above, the notion that Cameroon is a Promised Land is much more relevant for Cameroonians out of the country than those that are at home.  Before heading towards the Promised Land, the Jews were first in bondage in Egypt where they were serving as slaves to the Egyptians, being used as the work force for the building of that famous ancient Empire. Most of the brain of our country is out in other parts of the world doing everything to earn a living. This is slavery in other words.

Preoccupation of the National Assembly:

 During the sessions of the National Assembly of 2008, the Prime Minister was questioned by the honourable representatives of the people of Cameroon on the question of Brain Drain.  This means that the majority of the labour force of Cameroon is out of the country, be it intellectual or physical.  Most of them are in America, Europe and Asia.  All this is due to the difficult social situation in our country.  If this matter arrived a stage where the National Representatives had to react, it means that it has reached alarming proportions.

The Brain, most vital part of the Body

If we take away the brain from the body, nothing will be left.  You can take away the eyes, the feet, the hands or even a kidney from the body and it will still live and function. What I am saying here is that the importance of the brain for the body cannot be over emphasized.  So I believe very strongly that with the amount of brain that has been drained out of our country, we are barely left with little or no potentialities at all for the social, economic and cultural development of our country.  The real Cameroon seems to be out of the country.

This is where this notion of promise land has its full meaning. This implies that those who really matter for the development of our country are living as slaves out of the country, working for the development of those nations where they are living.  Not only are they suffering morally for having to leave their homeland, their parents, loved ones and friends, but they have to work almost around the clock to be able to meet up with the standard of living where they are and also take care of their numerous relations awaiting on them back at home.  Is this not more than slavery?

This is why we believe strongly that all of us Cameroonians at home and out of the country have to do everything possible to come out of this bondage and enter the real Cameroon which is the Promised Land that God had planned right from the foundation of the earth.

Our Bondage is mostly Spiritual

Let us remember that the actual bondage and slavery in which we now find ourselves is mostly spiritual, our refusal to know, serve and fear the God of heaven, creator of heaven and earth. We have preferred to turn and serve Satan, the Devil, arch enemy of God. This is why devilish acts such as Amok, freemasonry, immorality, homosexuality, bribery and corruption, embezzlement, lies telling, falsehood, crookedness, dishonesty, selfishness etc. are so rampant in our society. In the sense that this generalized poverty as well as human flight out of the country is just a manifestation, of this spiritual enslavement.

God Alone is Able to deliver us.

          Therefore the only solution to this is that we all turn back to God.   This entails a radical and personal change of mentality at all levels.  This is what we are proposing to all Cameroonians at home and abroad through this party that we have been inspired by God to create. We believe that if Cameroonians of good will join us, God will help us out of this difficult situation in which we have found ourselves, and have remained for so long. Time has come for God to take us out; we have just one thing to do, humble ourselves, repent from our evil ways, turn away from them, call upon God and he is ready to heal our land.  That is what he has said in his word according to II Chronicles 7:14.

Divine Arrangements

As providence will have it, this historic party is going to be inaugurated in Bertua when the authorization would have been received. It is God alone who has so arranged it this way because under normal circumstances it would have been done in Yaoundé but he so arranged it that way.  We understand from this that the Lord is telling us that a new day is downing on Cameroon; a new light is rising from the East of our country that will shine through and dissipate the darkness which has covered our country all these years past. The Lord is by so doing asking his church in Cameroon and all those who believe in the bright future of Cameroon to “Arise and Shine!”

Double Economic Crisis

 Our Country has been under economic crisis since late 1980s and we have done everything to come out of it without much success; even going to the extent of declaring ourselves as a poor and highly indebted country hasn’t helped us much.

 As we are still struggling to come out of this crisis, a second and tougher one has come to add on it. It has been almost impossible for us to come out of the first crisis for the last 20 years and one is wondering how many years it will take us to come out of the present double economic crisis. Meaning that if we don’t do something about it we may be doomed for serious difficulties.

 As I have a already said several times, the only way out is a total change in our mentality; firstly, individually and then collectively and eventually a change in our leadership. The present leadership in our Country has shown us clearly what to expect when a Nation decides to follow the Evil One instead of following God. As much as this is true for a Nation, it is also true for any other society, a family and even an individual.

You cannot give what you don’t have.

 When our present leaders came to power, their slogan was “Rigour and Moralization”, which to me was a very plausible concept. Since you can only give what you have, we have been waiting for all these years to see this concept implemented to no avail. You cannot connect yourself to darkness and expect to produce light, neither can you be flirting with a liar and expect to speak the truth.

Cameroon administered by expatriates?

When we look at the administration of our Country we have the impression that at all levels we seem to be administered by people from other Countries. Let us consider a few cases out of so many.

Planning of our Towns

It is only now that a God-given person like the present Government Delegate for Yaoundé has arrived and our Capital city is gradually looking like the headquarters of a Country. I still need to be convinced that there exists an urbanization plan for any of our major cities. Come to Bamenda and see how people are building on slopes and no one is raising a finger while waiting for another to come and start breaking down houses as he is now doing in Oyomabang in Yaoundé.

          Privatization of our Public Utilities

          Personally I don’t blame our leaders for the privatization process taking place in some of our public utilities. We Cameroonians have demonstrated our inability to manage our own Patrimony. If assistance has to be sought from outside to help us manage our own resources, it is because of our selfishness and our lack of patriotism. For how long shall this situation last? If we don’t wake up to say, No, to our egocentric attitudes, I am afraid we shall have no Cameroon to hand over to our children.

CHAPTER 8

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THE NUMBER “3”

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the Nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”

Matthew 28:19

This statement which was one of the last made by our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ during his stay here on earth, illustrates the importance of the number “3” in the complete accomplishment of an undertaking. If God was just alone without Jesus and the Holy Spirit, his redemption plan for mankind wouldn’t have been achieved.

The Cameroon flag

It is not by coincidence that the Cameroon flag has three colours; green, red, yellow. I don’t know whether those who chose these colours knew of the fact that there is a bird in the Cameroonian forest which bears these colours. I don’t know how this bird is called in English or French but in the Ngemba dialect of the N.W. Region, it is called “NGUH” and it’s feathers are called “NEFRUNENGUH”. These feathers are used in the N.W. and S.W Regions as a distinction given to anyone who has done an act of bravery. The presence of this bird in the Cameroon forest is not a coincidence. It is a proof that God, or if you like to call Him “Nature”

, has a special plan for Cameroon.

Possible origin of the next head of state

The head of state of the first Republic of Cameroon came from the part of Cameroon usually called, “Great North”, comprising the 3 Northern Regions of Cameroon. The head of state of the second Republic is from what we term “Center - South”, comprising the Center and South Regions. People with spiritual eyes can easily foresee from which part of Cameroon the head of the third Republic of Cameroon will come from. All these seem to be in the plan of God and nothing can change it.

Next head of state Pentecostal?

In this same line of thought, the first head of State of Cameroon was a Moslem, people who believe mostly in the Old Testament part of the Bible. The second head of State is a Roman Catholic, believing in both the old and New Testaments of the Bible. There seem to be something fundamentally lacking in this belief which may be found in the person God is preparing to head the 3rd Republic. It is that person that God will use to bring Cameroon out of its present state of moral and economic decadence.

Rigour, Moralization and “Spiritualization”?

The Head of the present Republic; when he came to power, his vision for Cameroon was contained in the concept he termed “Rigour and Moralization.” This concept made up of 2 ideas only was not sufficient to bring Cameroon up to its rightful state of national prosperity. One element is lacking to complete the number to 3.  This is why we have been at the end of the tunnel all this while without the possibility of coming out because the 3rd element is lacking. And without the third element, no matter how hard we work, we can never come out. You can give this third element any name you want but I will like to call it “Spiritualization”. This doesn’t mean any type of Spirit. The powers that are in Cameroon are mistaking this to any type of Spirit. We even read in news papers that they have borrowed an amount of 40 billion francs to a secret society to build their head quarters. Whether this is true or false is not important for us now. What is important for us now is that if the present or future leaders of Cameroon don’t work hand in hand with the right Spirit, that is, the Holy Spirit of God, creator of heaven and earth, we will never come out of this tunnel at whose mouth we have been lingering all this while.

A third Political party from Bamenda may do the trick?

Since the independence of Cameroon, more than three political parties have been created from Bamenda, North West Region. Among all of them only two have risen to prominent positions in the country. The KNDP party that rose up to the position of the vice presidency of Cameroon and the SDF that rose up to the position that all of us know. The CPP party that has just been created through the inspiration of the Almighty is going to become the third most prominent party from Bamenda. Considering the analyses we have just made in this chapter concerning the significance of the number “3”, it is easy to guess how far this party will be able to go in this country.

CHAPTER 9

DIFFERENT RESPONSIBILITIES

My own Role

As I was reading the book of Hosea in the Bible, the Lord gave me a message. In this book which is one of the Minor Prophets, the Lord illustrated the message He wanted to pass on through his prophet to His people by asking him to get married to a prostitute, something an ordinary Israelite was not allowed to do, not to talk of a prophet. So God asked His prophet to do this so as to illustrate to His people the message he wanted to convey to them at that point in time.

So as I was reading this book God also gave me instructions concerning my own wife, in connection to the message he has given me for Cameroon. The message He has given me for Cameroon is that despite the dilapidated and poor state of our country, He can bring us out of this state and lead us unto real peace and prosperity if only we humble ourselves, pray, seek His face and turn from our wicked ways As a matter of fact, my own personal life and that of my family has been poor and dilapidating as that of our country. By the Grace of God, He led me unto repentance and when I prayed, started seeking His face and turned away from my evil ways, He has started beautifying my life and He has told me He will do the same thing with my family and Cameroon as a whole only if I obey the instructions He has given me. What are these instructions? That despite the fact that I have lived separated from my wife for more than 13 years, that I should not divorce her, that I should consecrate my life wholly unto Him and be perfect as He is perfect and He will not only beautify my life but He will restore my wife back to me, beautify my family and use my family to beautify Cameroon. In all this God is trying to demonstrate to Cameroonians that, despite her poor and dilapidated state, what He has done in my life and is doing in my family, He can also do the same thing for Cameroon.

Role of the Church

I have already spoken elaborately in a previous paper on this topic and I have nothing new to add.

Role of other Cameroonians

The next book of the Bible that I read after the book of Hosea was Joel. After I finished this prophetic book, the Lord gave me a message for Cameroon which is similar to the one He gave to Joel for His People.

 The main message in this book is that a plaque of locust had come to discipline the Nation because of its rejection of God. This prophet Joel was calling the people to turn back to God before an even greater judgment occurred.

I think that this message of Joel to the people of Israel is also relevant to our country this time around. Cameroon has been in a state of poverty, morale decadence and physical depravity for quite some time now and the trend, instead of going down is on the rise. So God is giving us the same warning as He gave to His people the Israelites, that if we don’t change from our evil ways, we should be ready to face a more serious judgment than the one we are going through.

            For those of us who are acquainted with the Bible, remember that when Joel and all the other Prophets of his time warned the people of Israel about these dangers from God, the people of Israel did not listen to them but continued in their evil ways. This led to the destruction of Jerusalem and the captivity of Israel into Babylon. As God didn’t spare His people Israel but brought judgment upon them when they persisted in their Evils, He will never spare Cameroon or any other Nation of the world if we persist in Evil after such concern and warning.

Fortunately this book of Joel does not end under this sad note. Much blessings and compensation is promised in case of repentance and returning to God in Joel 2:25a it is said, “So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locus has eaten.” This means that if we turn away from our evil ways and return to God, He will not only bring us out of this state of poverty but He will help us regain all that we have lost during the so many years of economic recession when    we were living in disobedience and rebellion against Him.

Role of Prayer

In the book of IKgs 18:42b, it is said “And Elijah went up to the top of Carmel; then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees,”  This means that when Elijah received the promise from God that there will be rain, he didn’t just sit and wait for the rain to come.  The Bible says that he went down on his knees and put his face between his knees; meaning that he had to pray for this to happen.  As mentioned above, there is a group of pastors and believers who have received a revelation from God that there will be a Mighty Spiritual Revival in Cameroon that will embrace Africa and the rest of the world.  Since they received this revelation from the Lord, they have been going around the country, spending 7 days in each Regional headquarters, fasting and praying to God that His will for Cameroon may come to pass.

As I have also mentioned before I also received a revelation from the Lord telling me to create a political party which He will use to glorify His name in this country-Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world.  After having prayed since 2005 that I received this revelation without having the conviction that this was from the Lord, I had to go along with this group in 2006 all over the country to seek the face of God. After the 70 days the Lord confirmed in my heart that He is the one who laid that burden on my heart that I should go ahead to accomplish it, that he was going to be with me as he was with his Servant Moses, for the mission he is giving me for Cameroon is more or less like the one he gave Moses. This Mission comprises of removing Cameroon from the bondage of sin, misery, poverty and moral decadence into the same Cameroon, but this time, a land of promise, flowing, with milk and honey.

After receiving this confirmation from the Lord, I had no choice but to go ahead despite all the odds to get all the necessary information to create the political party the Lord asked me to.  By the grace of God this party was legalized in the month of January 2010.

Role of the Eastern Region of Cameroon.

 The Lord has told me that this party has to be launched in Bertoua, Eastern Region of Cameroon, and land of the rising sun. This has a double significance.  Firstly, it will be portraying the dawn of a new day in Cameroon; the beginning of a brown new era of revival growth and prosperity.  Secondly, it will be the beginning of the return of the glory of God through Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world. In the book of Ezekiel 43:4, it says “And the glory of the Lord came into the temple by way of the gate which faces towards the East.” This passage is talking of how the glory of the Lord left the temple through the East gate and how it will return again through the east gate. We remember that our Lord Jesus ascended into heaven from Mt. Olives which is situated on the east of Jerusalem.  The Angel that stood by the side of the disciples who were gazing up towards heaven told them that this same Jesus who is being taken up to heaven will return in like manner, meaning that our Lord Jesus shall be returning through Mt. Olives in the East of Jerusalem and when His glory will be returning into the Temple   in Jerusalem it will be by the East.  So it is not strange that the glory of the Lord should enter Cameroon through the East.

Another role of mine.

When God was looking for someone during the era of the early church to use at that point in time, His eyes fell on Saul of Tarsus who was a persecutor of the church. When He was looking for someone to use in order to bring Cameroon out of poverty, crookedness, falsehood, bribery, corruption and so on, His choice fell on me because I considered myself one of the most crooked and corrupt officers, the National Gendarmeries has ever produced.  Just to give one example out of so many; when I was still a lieutenant, commanding the gendarmerie company in Tcholire in 1986, I was conducted through the disciplinary board of the Gendarmerie for bribery and corruption. It was just by the grace of God that I was not dismissed.  So if God shall be using me at this point in time to say what I shall be saying to Cameroonians, it is not because I am the best but it is because I was the worst and He wants to use me to tell Cameroonians that no matter how bad you are, just come to Him as you are and He will receive you, transform you and use you to build a new and prosperous Cameroon. Did Saul of Tarsus, later on known as Apostle Paul, not say that Jesus came to save sinners of whom he is the chief?   I myself I can also say that Jesus is about to save Cameroonians from the bondage of sin, of whom I am the chief.

 The role of the Temptation in Douala

The Bible says that when our Lord Jesus was about to start his ministry, he spent 40 days and nights in the wilderness fasting and praying. After this period of time, the Devil tempted him in order to enable him lose track of his mission here on earth. The Bible also talks of the story of Esau who sold his birth right to his junior brother “Jacob” for a plate of food. In the same manner, the Evil one tempted me while we were in Douala during the 70 days’ prayer program of the year 2009 with the intention of either having me lose track of the mission the Lord has given me for Cameroon as was the case with our Lord Jesus, or to make me lose my birth right as was the case with Esau. As a reminder the mission the Lord has given me for Cameroon at this point in time is to create a political party that He wants to use to glorify His name in Cameroon and beyond.

When I arrived Douala on Tuesday the 7th of July I was directed to live with a brother in Christ in the Logbaba Neighbourhood.  This brother happens to nurture the same vision I have for Cameroon; create a political party so as to be able to win Cameroon for Jesus. I had met with this brother before and he shared his vision with me but I didn’t feel like working with him though we had about the same vision.

This time around the Devil was really bent on having me either lose track of my vision or sell my birth right. For reasons I couldn’t understand at that time, I found myself extraordinary exhausted, tired, discouraged and depressed. It was at this time that I found myself in discussion with this my host again on these political issues. The most striking thing he told me at this time was that he was going to put in billions of francs along side with so many T.V. stations for his campaign. When I looked at myself with just nothing in my account, I was indeed really tempted to say to him, O.K. I will give up my own project and we will work together. By so doing I would have given up my calling or sold my birth right. It was just by the grace of God that I didn’t go that far. Actually, for all the few days that I was in this brother’s house I was battling with these ideas. Finally, I had to take some time off on my own to seek the face of God. The Lord in His Sovereignty and special grace and favor showed me that I would be making a grievous mistake joining him. As soon as I arrived this decision all the depression, tiredness and so on disappeared and I felt light in my spirit and body. It was here that I realized that I was really under oppression by the evil one who really wanted to destroy my vision. I have never felt the Lord Jesus interceding for me as I did at this point in time. As I woke up from that state I just decided to leave Douala. I immediately packed my things and left that very Friday night for Bamenda whereas the program in Douala was supposed to finish two days later. Up till now, the brethren of the team haven’t understood what happened but I give glory to the lord for having helped me so much at such a critical moment.

So, to answer the question why the Lord allowed me to be tempted, the answer is simple, to see if I am really convinced that He is the one who has given me this mission for Cameroon. As a matter of fact, since that time, I am feeling differently, my body, my spirit, my head is much lighter than before and I sense more of His presence than before.

CHAPTER   10

THE YEAR OF JUBILEE

“And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession; and each of you shall return to his family.”

Leviticus: 25:10

I have mentioned in a former chapter of this book that God asked his servant to pray for seven years after which there will be a mighty revival in Cameroon that will embrace Africa and the rest of the world.  I have had the privilege of accompanying these servants of God all over Cameroon during these prayers for two consecutive years, 2008 and 2009. To the best of my knowledge, it didn’t occur to any of us that the 7th year of this prayer will fall on the year of Jubilee of Cameroon’s Independence.  The fact that we are all ignorant of this doesn’t change the truth that God, creator of everything had planned it right from the foundation of the earth.

The political party, Cameroon Party of Promise (CPP), ought to have been legalized since last year, but God delayed it in order that it be done on the 26th of January this year, year of Jubilee for Cameroon.  This cannot be coincidental but has worked out according to divine plan.  The Lord had planned that this party, created through his inspiration will come to set Cameroon free from the hands of the Evil One.

As we have read in   the passage from the word of God above, the year of Jubilee was for the Israelites a year of liberty and of restoration. We have already discussed before that Cameroon is going to be used by God this time in the same way he used Israel.  That is why this passage of the Bible talking about the Jubilee of the Israelites is also relevant to Cameroon this time.  God has brought Cameroon spiritually up to the point where He is about to set us free from the hands of the evil one who has kept us in captivity all this while.

The above passage from the word of God also says, each of you shall return to your family”. This statement can be interpreted as saying that Cameroonians who are in their numbers   out of the country shall return home to their families when prosperity shall have returned to Cameroon. This prophecy was also confirmed by a servant of God of Nigerian nationality last February in Douala during the 2010 edition of IMPACT, a yearly prayer seminar organized by the Full Gospel Mission and other Pentecostal churches in Cameroon

Why the Jubilee of the Cameroon Army is being celebrated in Bamenda:

In his end of year speech to the nation, the Head of State last year announced that the 50 years of the Cameroon Army will be celebrated in Bamenda, chief town of the North West Region of Cameroon.

Political analysts and military strategists are somehow at a loss about how to explain the reasons behind this decision. Towns like Ngaoundere in the Adamawa Region, Kutaba in the Western Region or even Buea in the South west Region would have been more indicative because they have a past and even a present that has something to do with the Army.  But Bamenda, to the best of my knowledge, hasn’t that much in common with our Armed Forces.

Nevertheless, those who have spiritual eyes see it differently.  We all remember that the CPDM political party in power since 1985 got its birth from Bamenda.  We also remember that the Presidential elections will be taking place in Cameroon next year 2011. Some Spiritual analysts are of the opinion that Power may change hands in Cameroon any time from now.  Is it out of place to imagine that the fact that the Head of State is coming to Bamenda this year to celebrate this Jubilee is a way of coming to hand over the power that his party received from Bamenda to a native of Bamenda and member of the Armed  Forces?

                                                SERIES OF QUESTIONS

Why has the C.P.D.M Party been In Power for This Long?

God is not only a great teacher but also a great pedagogue! The reason why God chose Abraham in order to create the Nation of Israel was twofold. Firstly and mostly in order to bring about the birth of His Son Jesus for the reconciliation of Himself with the world.  Secondly, to demonstrate through the Nation of Israel to all the other nations of the world that He alone is the living God, in contrast to the other gods that these Nations worship.

Despite what the Devil did in order to prevent the birth of Jesus and even the accomplishment of His mission, the Will of God was done. In the same way as our Lord Jesus said that I will build my church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against her, God Almighty must have also declared even before sending his son unto the earth that I will reconcile the world that I have created with myself and nobody will succeed in stopping it.

In as much as God succeeded in accomplishing the first objective of the creation of the Nation of Israel, He is still in the process of accomplishing the second objective. It is evident that since the creation of the Nation of Israel God has manifested Himself in very many occasions to show that He is the only living God who is in heaven. This time, He is about to do it in a more dramatic manner through the Nation of Cameroon and more specifically through His church. This is not because His church in Cameroon is the strongest but merely because of His special favour for Cameroon. This explains the reason why the present regime is ruling over Cameroon now and for so long. We remember that in this present Regime, occultic powers have risen to it’s highest pick in our country, needless to mention that secret societies like Amok that were operating in hiding during the former Regime have come out into the open. Despite all these, we are living a semblance of peace which is not the real peace that we ought to live when God is in control. The Devil is an expert in counterfeiting and manipulating. God has allowed the present regime this long in power over Cameroon for two main reasons;

Firstly, to show to Cameroonians and all the Nations of the world that Satan is a  thief, a liar, a deceiver and has nothing good to offer anybody or any Nation. Cameroon is a very rich country and since the advent of the present Regime, poverty has settled in our country and day after day, week after week, month after month and year after year, things are getting worse and worse. The riches of this Nation are in the hands of a minority whereas the vast majority is languishing in abject poverty. But this very few keep on manipulating, through the influence of the evil one, the suffering people of Cameroon to be insisting that the present regime remain in power. If the leadership of this country wasn’t that Diabolic, how can you be leading a country for this long and everything is showing that the moral, material and financial potentialities are on a downward trend and the vast majority is suffering in misery and poverty yet you still cling to power? This is a clear proof to Cameroonians and the world at large that Satan has nothing good to offer.

So God allowed this to happen and for this long because he wants to bring Cameroonians to see for themselves the lies of the evil one. And I strongly believe that Cameroonians have seen this.  When those that God is preparing to bring salvation to Cameroon will emerge and start calling Cameroonians to make an about turn and look on God, the only one that can bring them out of the present situation, they will understand, they will believe and they will take action.

Secondly, there is going to be a great difference between the present Reign in Cameroon and the one God is about to put in place. The difference is going to be like day and night. The peace that shall be during that time shall not be an absence of war where the vast majority is living in uncertainty of what they will eat the next day, whether their children will go to school and what to do in case of sickness. The riches of the Nation shall not be in the hands of a small minority but instead, the poor shall be in the strictest minimum. Those that God shall put in leadership shall receive a special grace from God to rule the people with the fear of the Lord, in righteousness, humility and transparency.

When Cameroonians and the rest of the world shall see the difference between the reign of evil and that of good, they will understand that the Almighty God, creator of heaven and earth is the only one worthy to be known, loved, trusted, served, obeyed and worshipped. That is when a vast majority of Cameroonians will turn away from their gods even those who are in leadership now. When the rest of the world will see and hear of what is happening in Cameroon, they will come from far and wide to see for themselves. That is why, on asking us to create this political party, the Lord said that through it, His holy name will be glorified in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world

Why Did God Bring The Present Regime To Power?

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

This passage from the word of God is a statement made by God himself, the creator of the heart of man.  The explanation that can be given to this passage is that God created everything including the human heart perfectly, but the evil one has distorted it to an extent that even he himself can no longer recognize it.

This means that God created us with much potential for the use of his kingdom here on earth.  According to the manner in which you expose yourself to the evil one, he will distort your heart proportionately.

I have mentioned previously that all power on earth an in heaven is given by God. Cameroonians have noticed that since the advent of the present regime in our Country the practice of occultism and secret societies has risen very high.  Whether this is true or false is not important. What is important is the fact that God is the one who brought it to power and has kept it there up till now for a purpose.  As soon as this purpose will be fulfilled, he will bring it down.  Personally, I believe that the purpose for which God brought it to power and has maintained it there up till now is for the democratization of the political scene of Cameroon.  I have the impression that it has done it’s very best in the accomplishment of this task..

Why Did The SDF Not Rise To Power In Cameroon?

It seems as if the SDF actually won the Presidential elections of 1992. Most Cameroonians in general and the SDF members in particular are putting the blame on the present Regime.  If this is true, I will like to differ a bit with this general tendency. All power in heaven and on earth comes from God. As I have already mentioned in previous papers, God has a particular plan and interest for Cameroon. That is why we are living in this wonderful peace and security   despite our corrupt, immoral and occult practices. This fact can never be overemphasized.

There are persistent ramous that some leaders of the S.D.F party are members of a sacred society. Some people even go as far as saying that they are in the same one with some of our present leaders where they seem to enjoy a higher status in the hierarchy. True or false, only God alone knows. What is important for us here is what we can deduce from all these facts.

With the much concern that God has shown for Cameroon all along, it seemed unwise for God to have removed Cameroon from a “dirty vessel” and put it again in another “dirty vessel.” That is why God is preparing a “cleaner vessel” in which He will put Cameroon after removing it from the present “dirty vessel.” It is this cleaner vessel that God will use to usher Cameroon into its rightful state of maximum prosperity, the Land of Promise as we have termed it previously

This doesn’t mean that the vessel the Lord is preparing is going to be a perfect one. The only Government that shall be perfect on this planet “earth”, after the fall of man in the Garden of Eden is going to be the Millennium Reign of our Lord Jesus Christ. But the leaders of this Third Republic of Cameroon are going to be near perfection because God shall have prepared them himself and He will give to them and the rest of the population a special grace as written in His word in the book of Ezekiel 36: 26-27; “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put my spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and will keep My judgments and do them.”

God is on the move

On this historic day that the Almighty had planned right from the foundation of the earth, I want to thank all of you very sincerely for your presence and wish that he blesses you here and take you back home safely. Some of us may be tempted to think in respect of the present state of our country that things are out of hand, but permit me to assure you that God Almighty who created the heavens and the earth is still in control.  I believe very strongly that what we are doing here today seemingly insignificant, is of utmost importance and in line with His divine plan.

Called by God to create a political Party

I am saying this because I have never dreamt of being a politician one day.  After having served the Nation for 34 years in the National Gendarmerie, I came home thinking I would take a merited rest.  I surprisingly found myself in the Bible school in FGBI Nkwen where I did two years and graduated in 2006 as a pastor.   While in the Bible school, God laid a burden on my heart to create a political party to be used to glorify Himself here in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world. After much hesitation I decided to take a retreat and go through all the provincial headquarters of the country in order to seek his face and receive confirmation of this vision.  During this period of 70 days, the Lord confirmed to me that this vision was from him.  I had no choice but to obey the voice of the Lord.  As I see much surprise on most of your faces, I want to confess that I am more surprise than all of you; thanks be to Him for enabling me learn from His word about His faithfulness. When He calls you, He cannot leave you alone.  He will always go along with you.  There are many examples in the Bible to show that he has done it in the past and since He doesn’t change, He will still do it now. So you better stop looking neither at me nor yourselves whom he has called to accomplish his plan.  He who has called us is able to lead us through and he is faithful, and with him everything is possible. Mark 10:27 Apostle Paul says in the Bible that with God I can do everything, through him who strengthens me.

Why we are creating this party:-

We are then creating this party today through the inspiration and direction of the Almighty. He   has opened our eyes to see the amount of evil forces in our nation and to understand that no one else apart from Him can help us eradicate them. Just to name a few of them here, we can talk of; occultism, magic, sorcery, immorality, homosexuality, lesbianism, falsehood, crookedness, dishonesty, lying, bribery and corruption, embezzlement, self centeredness, tribalism, nepotism etc.   All these ills are eating deeper and deeper in our society in a way that if something is not done; our country may end up disappearing from the face of the earth like Sodom and Gomorrah.

God has a particular Interest for Cameroon

            God seems to have a special interest on Cameroon because of our bilingual culture and our geographical situation. Some of us who believe in God and in his prophesy can remember of lots of prophesies that have come out talking of how God wants to use Cameroon in his end time plan towards the redemption of humanity.  He has kept us in this state   of relative peace within a turbulent sub-region despite all the wickedness in our land. That is the reason why he has taken the initiative to lay this burden on our hearts so as   to use us to accomplish this plan. He wants to use us not because we are already perfect but simply because we acknowledge our weakness and believe that he can help us overcome them. This is the essence of the message he is giving us and wants us to pass it on to the rest of our compatriots. 

Steps to take in order to come out of our State of poverty

In order to attain this goal, he is counting mostly on his church in Cameroon and all those of good will. In this respect let us consider his word that says in IIChronicles 7:13-14 that, “When I shut up heaven and there is no rain, or command the locusts to devour the land, or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” Because of the fact that we have left the way of God which is the way of good and have taken our own way,   the way of evil, our country is living under closed heavens, we are under a curse, and there is a plaque on our country.  This is why despite all our economic potentialities and natural resources, we are still considered a poor and highly indebted country.  We have done everything these past years to come out of this state of poverty to no avail, simply because we have abandoned the ways of God. The word of God says in proverb 14:34 that, “Righteousness exalts a nation, But sin is a reproach to any people.” What we have to do now is to humble ourselves before God, confess our sins and abandon them, seek the face of God through his word and abide by it and He will forgive us and heal our land.

God is counting on the church In Cameroon:    

This is exactly what the church in Cameroon has to do at this time if we want God to heal our country of all the ills we have just mentioned.  It is not a question of denomination. The Bible that we all read talks of “all those who are called by his name”.   Be you Roman Catholic, Presbyterian, Evangelic, Baptist, and Pentecostal and so on, as long as you are called by his name, know that your Lord is counting on you to change the present situation in our country. The Bible says in Isaiah 60:1 that quote, “Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the Glory of the Lord is risen upon you.”  The time has come for the church in Cameroon to arise and shine. We have kept our light too long under the table and it is time we bring it out and let it shine and dissipate the darkness which is hovering over our country.

 The Head of our Party:

God is the head of our party. We are merely instruments in his hands.  He alone knows why he has chosen us. So don’t look on your weakness, be conscious of them, do your best to overcome them, pray and ask him to help you overcome them. 

 The rules and regulations that shall govern the functioning of our party shall be in conformity to the word of God as much as possible.  We shall not do or encourage anything that is contrary to the word of God.  We accept anyone who will adhere to our ideology irrespective of belief or religious background.

Two Pertinent questions:

Most of you must be asking yourselves what another party will come to do in Cameroon now with more than 200 parties. I will answer you with another question. Which of the leaders of any of the existing parties has ever said that he has received inspiration from God?   You may also be asking yourselves where the money will come from for such a gigantic enterprise. I will tell you that all gold and silver belongs to God the Head of our party. He will raise people to sustain His work as he has always done.  The money will come from you, from me, from all those of goodwill that he will raise.

It is the Lord’s doing.

As you also look at me standing in front of you, you may be asking yourselves, what can he do? Or what can I do?  I want to emphasize on the fact that you shouldn’t look at your capacities but look on the God who has chosen you and I to be part of this great task. The word of God says in 1Cor.1:27-28; “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,” He is a jealous God and doesn’t want to share his glory with anyone. He wants that after the task shall have been accomplished, people will say, it is the Lord’s doing and is marvelous in our sight!

His mission is not yet finished:

What is God’s aim of undertaking this project through you and I? We remember that since the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, he has been in the process of redeeming mankind back to himself.  And we also remember that the second coming of his son is nearest than ever before.  He is a just God and doesn’t want to condemn anybody who hasn’t heard his word. There are still lots and lots of people and groups of people in our country, Africa and the world at large who still need to hear the word of God.  Some have already heard but still need to hear again and again in order to believe and give their lives to Christ. So the main aim of what God is doing through us is to bring out the Gospel from the four walls of the church into the streets. Our light has to stop shining only within the four walls of the church and go out into all the various sectors of the society. There is going to be a mighty out pouring of the Holy Spirit of God in the church in Cameroon that will embrace Africa and the rest of the world. The church started with the outpouring of the Holy Spirit; before its rapture, there is going to be another great outpouring.  That is just what God is starting here and now through you and I.  So just be open and allow yourself to be used by God. Remember the prophesy of the American  servant of God, GOBESKY, mentioned in one of my articles talking of the river of blood he saw flowing  from the NORTH WEST Province of Cameroon towards the rest of the Country, on who’s bank sprouted a fruit tree.  This is that fruit tree starting from here today. If you don’t believe it, I strongly do.

We are responsible for the longevity of our present leaders:

Many of us are complaining that the leadership of our country has been there for too long, that they are selfish and so on. Let me tell you that it’s you and I who have been keeping them there up till now. Why, because we hadn’t prepared ourselves to replace them.  Since God did not find any better team to replace them, he has been obliged to allow them there   until such a time. As long  as they  are still in power, we have to know  that  they are there by God’s will, and so have to continue to pray for them as the Bible says, until such time that God himself  decides to replace them. Our greatest desire is that they also repent from their evil ways and return to the Lord.

Provisional Structures:

The leadership of our party we are putting in place today, according to the constitution of our party  is called “Provisional Executive Council” (PEC) and is going to govern our party until such a time that the party deems it fit to put in place permanent structure. In like manner, these same provisional units will eventually be put in peaceful provincial, senior divisional, divisional, and village and quarter levels of the party for the main time.

On the field as often as possible

Our party is not going to follow the example of the existing parties who go to the field only during elections. As soon as the party is legalized, hopefully by end of February and the official launching in about the same time, the party has to be launched at the Regional level during the month of March 2009.  In April, May, June 2009 we will put in place our party at Divisional, Sub Divisional and district levels. This will also be necessary because our party being one of change of mentality and behaviors, we will have to be in the field as often as possible for education, sensitization, and encouragement. That is just what our society needs most for now.

Foundation Members:

As concern the foundation members of this historic party, I propose that we have two categories; the spiritual foundation members and the physical foundation members. The spiritual foundation members shall be those that shall spend time in interceding for the party while the physical foundation members shall be those that work hand in hand with the spiritual foundation member in constructing the party to grow from strength to strength fruitfully, as one body All of these men and women shall emerge along the line from all the levels of the party and throughout the National territory.

Uprightness in our behavior

I will like to draw our attention to the fact that what we are doing here means waging war against the devil and these demons. He will not fold his hands and watch at us bringing down his strong holds in this country. He will naturally fight back. The Bible says that he who is in us is greater than he who is in the world. But let’s bear in mind that God is righteous and will only back us when we live and behave in righteousness. So our advice to all the members of our party in general and to the leadership in particular is that we strive to live an honest and righteous life as much as possible, if we expect God to back us.

God Does Not Change.

In closing I will like us to remind ourselves of the fact that God does not change.  That same God who called Abraham from Mesopotamia to give him the land of Canaan as an inheritance to his descendants and promised that through him all the nations of the earth will be blessed; is the same God who has called us today to create this   historic party through which he has promised to glorify himself in Cameroon, Africa and the world at large. In the same manner that Abraham and his descendants believe God and all his promises have been fulfilled in our eyes today, I believe that these promises God has made to us concerning this party will come to pass for the glory of His holy Name.

 Let us also bear in mind that whenever the children of Israel went persistently out of the will of God he did not spare them even if it meant sending them into captivity. So let us be careful not to persistently divert from His word in the accomplishment of this mission for God does not change.

CHAPTER 13

PRAYER OF REPENTANCE FOR CAMEROON

Have Mercy on Cameroon, Oh Lord, Have Mercy on Cameroon.   

We Cameroonians have all sinned against you, from North to South, East to West, irrespective of our different and numerous tribes, big and small, young and old, rich and poor, parents and children, leaders and subordinates, man and woman, learned and unlearned, believers and unbelievers.

Your word says in IIChronicles 7:13-14 that “when I shut up heaven there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send pestilence among My people, if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Lord, we confess that your word has come to pass in our lives and in our Country. Cameroon.  You have indeed shut up the heavens on our country and there is no rain on our land.  The seasons come and go and we produce food and eat but haven’t got our fill because you have sent locusts to devour our land.  You have sent a plaque into our territory.  We are living under a curse because of our wicked ways.  Despite all the potentialities of our Nation, we have been living in abject poverty for so many years because we have abandoned your ways and have chosen to go our own way.

            Most gracious Lord, in conformity to your word, we humble ourselves before you. We have sinned against you in diverse ways: occultism, magic and sorcery, amok, freemasonry, immorality and homosexuality, bribery, corruption and embezzlement, selfishness, tribalism, favouritism and nepotism, crookedness, dishonesty and falsehood, laziness, gambling, and drunkenness.  We repent of all these our wicked ways and ask for your forgiveness. We have resolutely decided in our hearts to turn away from them. And to seek your face more than ever before. So sovereign Lord, we pray that you perform your word in our lives, in our families, in our country Cameroon.

Open back the doors and windows of heaven upon us Lord and heal our land. Send down the natural rain so that our crops may grow again. Also send the supernatural rain of the Holy Spirit to water our hearts so that we can be able to understand your word and do your will. Destroy the locusts that you have allowed to devour our resources.  Remove the plaque that you have sent to maintain us under the yoke of poverty for all these years.  Lord give us the grace to abide henceforth by your truths and live according to your word. In Jesus name we pray, Amen!

CHAPTER 14

SPEECH BY THE NATIONAL COORDINATOR AFTER THE

LEGALIZATION OF THE PARTY

A Party of Promise for a Land of Promise

“Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old.  Behold I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it?  I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”                              Isaiah 43:18-19

God has shown to us beyond all reasonable doubts that Cameroon is a Land of Promise. This is why despite our very corrupt mentality and many other vices, we are still living in peace even within a sub-region plagued with armed conflicts and civil strife.  Pope Benedict 16th during his last visit to Cameroon mentioned it, that Cameroon is a Land of Promise, this notwithstanding the fact that our National Anthem says in its English version; “Land of Promise, Land of Glory”.

Many Prophecies have also gone out talking about the hand of God on Cameroon.  Just to mention a few, we can talk of the vision of God to Steve Lightly, a well known   Minister of the World wide Charismatic Movement in Europe.  He saw the African continent where the map of Cameroon was brightly lit up.  He expressly visited Cameroon because of this vision. While here and as he was fellowshipping with other Christians, his vision was confirmed by information about another vision some brethren saw in Finland while in prayer. They saw the African continent with a finger pointing to the country of Cameroon.  All of these things were in the nineteen seventies.

More recently in July 2006, during a Ministers conference in Yaoundé, an elderly Minister from U.S.A., Rev. GOBESKY who has a prophetic anointing, had a vision concerning Cameroon.  He saw a river of blood flowing from the North West Region of Cameroon towards the rest of the country; at the bank of the river was a tree that was growing very fast and bearing abundant fruits. A strong wind started blowing as soon as the fruits were ready.   This strong wind blew and scattered the fruits to the ends of    the country and beyond. It is worth noting that this American was in Cameroon for his first time.

This vision is being fulfilled in the creation of this political party, the Cameroon Party of Promise (CPP).  This party has been created by the inspiration of God and it is going to be through the power of the blood of Jesus and the mighty wind of the Holy Spirit that it will cover the whole of Cameroon in no time.

In addition to this there is a group called the “Global Prayer Strike Force,” which received a revelation from the Lord in 2003 asking them to pray for Cameroon for seven years after which a mighty spiritual revival will take place in Cameroon.  God also revealed to them that He is “releasing arrows of Destiny for a new Cameroon”  Meaning that He is preparing a completely new leadership for Cameroon composed of  children of God through whom this mighty revival will take place which will embrace the whole country and beyond, as seen in the prophesy of Gobesky.

So this group started the 7 years prayer for Cameroon in 2004. In 2005 I found myself in the Bible school where the Lord laid this burden on my heart saying; “Create a political party which I will be used to glorify my name in this country Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the World.” After much hesitation and seeking of the face of God by myself, brethren and many other pastors, the Lord continued insisting that the vision was from him.  I had no choice but to start compiling the file.  After much obstructions and obstacles, the party was finally legalized on the 26th of January this year. The Lord has shown us that He is in the process of doing a new thing in Cameroon.

In addition to this, Religious analysts have demonstrated that Yaoundé, the Capital of Cameroon is going to become the 3rd religious headquarters on earth after Jerusalem, and Rome.  The physical proof to this allegation is the fact that all these 3 cities are surrounded by 7 hills.

The bible says in Isaiah 19:19a that; “In that day, there will be an alter to the Lord in the midst of the Land of Egypt.” They interpret this passage by saying   that during these end times the Lord will visit Africa (Egypt) with a mighty outpour of the Holy Spirit.  Africa will then undertake a mighty evangelistic campaign of the other continents of the world.  The gospel shall be preached unto the uttermost parts of the earth, and then the second coming of the Lord will take place.  This is the move the Lord is inaugurating in Cameroon by the creation of this party.  So anybody who will identify himself with this movement should know that he is entering into partnership with God for the accomplishment of his will on earth.  .

This new thing that God is about to do in Cameroon now is as a result of much spiritual preparation. All the churches in Cameroon are praying very intensely for the will of God to be done in our country. What is taking place now and which will continue unfolding is just the manifestation of all that has been done in the spiritual realm and planed by God since the foundation of the world.

No political party can be able, on its own, to bring Cameroon out of our present state.  Our country has been at the end of the tunnel for so many years, says some politicians, yet unable to come out  This is   why  we believe very strongly that only God can  help  us come out, and He is about  to do it  . 

There is just one thing He is asking from us and this is contained in His word according to IIChronicles 7:14 which says; “If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will here from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”      

This is the main message that this party is conveying to the people of Cameroon.  God is counting first of all on those who are called by his Name to humble themselves before him in repentance and recognition that without Him they can do nothing.  Secondly, that they pray and seek His face more than ever.  Thirdly, they should turn from their wicked ways and pray, and then he will hear from heaven and heal the land

In addition to those who are called by his Name, we are also appealing to all Cameroonians of goodwill who have our dear fatherland at heart to join us bring down in a democratic and peaceful manner the present Regime in our country. Our victory has already been decreed by God Almighty himself and has revealed it to us through his servants. Don’t be afraid that someone will steal our victory. It is the Lord who is giving it to us and no one can stand before him.

The Bible says in ICor. 1:27-28, “But God has chosen the foolish things of the world to put to shame the wise, and God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty; and the base things of the world and the things which are despised God has chosen, and the things which are not, to bring to nothing the things that are,”. I am quoting this passage to encourage Cameroonians not to pay attention on how we are, what we are or what we have.  Focus your attention more on the Mighty God who is with us.  He is going to use us to bring down the strongholds of Evil in our country in the same way He used David to bring down Goliath. 

Our Lord Jesus said in John 14:12, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” These are those greater works the Lord promised, we will do which are going to be manifested through this party which will consist mostly of winning multitudes of souls into the kingdom of God. 

Most of our rallies shall consist of singing and praising God for what he is in the process of doing in our country Cameroon.   God is about to conquer Cameroon for us in the same manner he conquered Jericho and the rest of the Promised Land for the children of Israel.  Joshua 6:5 “It shall come to pass, when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when you hear the sound of the trumpet, that all the people shall shout a great shout; then the world of the city will fall down flat. And the people shall go up every man straight before him.” As we shall be singing and praising the Lord, all the walls and barricades that the Devil has built around our country will fall and we shall go up, everyman straight in and possess the land.

We are hereby calling on Cameroonians of all walks of life to register massively as soon as the voters’ registers are opened and get ready to go in their numbers and vote.  God has given us a new Cameroon, let us arise and take hold of it and run it for the good of everyone and for the glory of God.

CHAPTER 15

PRELIMINARY STATEMENT BY THE NATIONAL COORDINATOR OF THE CAMEROON PARTY OF PROMISE ON THE OCCATION OF THE MAIDEN PRESS CONFERENCE OF THE PARTY, HELD IN NKWEN ON WEDNESDAY 06TH OCTOBER 2010

I believe every honest Cameroonian will agree with me today that our country is sick, very sick. The cankerworms of corruption, embezzlement, injustice, occultism, falsehood, and so on, have eaten deep into the very soul of the nation. This has resulted to poverty, unemployment, and suffering for the great majority. Because of this evil trend, progress and prosperity have been  paralyzed.

In the same manner as a bitter medication like quinine is necessary to treat malaria, a bitter drug is going to be necessary to heal Cameroon. The fear of God, the change of mentality and uprightness in our daily behaviour, which is a bitter medication to our present situation, shall be the watchword of the Cameroon Party of Promise. This is something Cameroonians are unused to, and in most cases do not like to hear. We of the Cameroon Party of Promise believe very strongly that only God can take Cameroon out of the present mess.

One major difference between the Cameroon Party of Promise and all the other existing parties is that the latter have tried to solve our problems based mainly on human ability but to no avail. Even the regime in power has declared several times that we are at the end of the tunnel but has never succeeded in bringing us out. This is a clear indication that if God is not involved in an endeavour it will never succeed, no matter the means used.

Among the numerous political parties in our country, none of their founders has ever said he has been inspired by God to create a party. It is not easy for anyone to say this. I am saying this because; this is the case with the Cameroon Party of Promise, whose maiden press conference we are holding today. As a matter of fact, this party has been created through divine inspiration.

Some of you present here may know me. For those who don’t, I am called Chi Ngante Francis, a retired captain of the National Gendarmerie and a graduate from the Full Gospel Bible Institute, Nkwen Bamenda.

I had never dreamed of being a politician in my life. After I retired from the Army in 2003, I returned home, hoping to take a well merited rest, but surprisingly, God called me into the Bible school where He told me: “Create a political party through which  my holy Name will be grorify in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of  the world”.

This took place in 2005. I started by resisting this call from the Lord, but nevertheless praying that if it were His will, let it be done. I also asked many other pastors of the Bible school to pray along with me for clear guidance in this matter.

After 2 years in the Bible school, I was still battling with Him concerning this idea. Up till the year 2008, I was still reluctant to accept the fact that, this idea was from the Lord, despite the fact that many pastors who were praying with me confirmed that this vision was from Him. In June 2008, in order to be convinced, I decided to accompany a prayer group called Global Prayer Strike force that had been praying for Cameroon since 2004, to go along with them so as to seek the face of God more intensely. We started with them in Maroua in June 2008 and after seventy days of prayer through the ten Regions of Cameroon, the Lord still witnessed in my heart: “I have told you to create a political party through which   my holy name will be glorify in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world. I had no choice but to embark on this divine assignment. To cut a long story short, I compiled the file and by the help of God, the party was legalized in January 26th this year.

May I emphasize here that the creation of this party is not an isolated event, but part of a process that God had planned for Cameroon.

Those who wrote the Cameroon national anthem and termed Cameroon land of promise, land of glory, were, consciously or unconsciously, inspired by God to say just what Cameroon represented in His plan. It is because of this special plan of God for Cameroon that we are experiencing this measure of social peace, despite our state of corruption and immorality. This special favour of God for Cameroon was demonstrated during the Cameroon Bakassi conflict, where the Lord had to mobilize four world powers to ensure that the decision of the international court of justice on this matter was implemented. I doubt whether anything of the sort has ever happened since the I.C.J. was created.

For those of you who are acquainted with the word of God, you will remember that before God does anything, He first reveals it to his prophets. God has not changed. Before accomplishing this plan for Cameroon, He has revealed it in one way or the other to his servants. We will mention a few of them here.

Firstly we will like to mention the case of a certain man of God of German origin called Steve Lightle, who purposely visited Cameroon in the seventies because God showed him, along with his prayer partners, the map of Africa with Cameroon brightly lit up. When he visited Cameroon, he also learned that some Christians praying in Finland also saw in a vision the map of Africa with a finger pointing to Cameroon.

One of the most recent revelations of God about Cameroon is that of an American elderly man of God who, on his first visit to Cameroon in 2006, had a vision, where he saw a river of blood flowing from the North West Region of Cameroon, on who’s banks sprouted a fruits tree that grew very rapidly and bore fruit that matured also very rapidly. A strong wind arose and blew on the fruits, spreading them all over Cameroon and beyond.

Permit me also to mention other revelations of God to his servants, Rev. Ndite Joseph and his brother Rev. Sonkwe Johnson, to whom God asked in the year 2003, to pray for Cameroon for seven years after which there will be a mighty spiritual revival in Cameroon. May I draw your attention to the fact that they started these seven years prayers for Cameroon in the year 2004, whereas I found myself in the Bible school in 2005 where the Lord asked me to create this political party. It is clear that there is some chronology in these two divine events.

In addition to that, when the Lord asked these two Pastors to pray for Cameroon, hardly did they know that the seven years’ prayers would end in 2010, the year of jubilee for Cameroon. The word jubilee biblically refers to the Israelites and signifies freedom and restoration. We already illustrated earlier concerning the relationship between Israel and Cameroon. We can then understand why God intended that these seven years’ prayers should fall in the jubilee year of Cameroon’s independence. By so doing, God Himself declared the freedom and restoration of Cameroon. He is at this present time declaring to this state of bondage, poverty and misery that Cameroon has been undergoing all these years that; enough is enough!

While asking us to create this Political Party, God gave us specific messages to three categories of people in Cameroon.

1)   The political leadership of Cameroon:

God is asking them to acknowledge the fact that He is the Almighty, Creator of the whole world and must be honoured and worshipped by all. That He is the one who placed them over Cameroon. Instead of leading Cameroon into light and prosperity, they are leading Cameroon into darkness, poverty and misery; that the peace Cameroon is experiencing is not of their making, but by His divine power, this is because of the special plan He has for Cameroon; that He is giving them another chance to repent from all the evil they have done to Him and to the people of Cameroon. If they refuse to do this, He will be obliged to remove them from power and replace them with people who are ready to work hand in hand with Him.

2)   The church in Cameroon

IIChronicles 7:14 says; if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and I will forgive their sin and heal their land. The Lord has asked us to tell His church in Cameroon that up till now He is very disappointed with their behaviour; that they have not let their light to shine before men. Instead, they have compromised; how? Because in public life, be it the administration, the civil society, or the private sector, not much difference is noticed between the believers and the unbelievers; that time has come for them to shine; that He is counting on them to put in place the new Cameroon He has planned. For this to happen, the Church must put into practice His word as cited earlier. After this, He will then use them in a mighty way to bring Cameroon out of this present state of sin, bondage and poverty into a land of promise flowing with milk and honey.

3)   The masses:

That they must turn to God and abandon occultism, immorality, false hood, dishonesty, crookedness, corruption and so on, for He is about to create a new Cameroon, and anybody who will continue to practice such evil habits will not be comfortable in it.

I will like to say here, something about our football, the sport that most of us Cameroonians cherish so much, which is also a big symbol of our unity. After our debacle in South Africa during the last world cup, one of the reasons given for this failure was the use of witchcraft and sorcery. I am asking myself the question to know whether this was the first time Cameroonians were practicing, witchcraft in football. I believe not. What happened in South Africa was a message God is sending to Cameroonians of all walks of life, warning all those who are using witchcraft and all sorts of occult powers to enslave Cameroonians. The Lord is saying that, enough is enough! If at all He allowed those powers to work in the past, they can no longer work now because time has come for His will to be done in Cameroon. Anyone trying to involve himself in such acts again, should be ready to face His holy wrath and will only have himself to blame. A word to the wise is sufficient, says the Lord.

In addition to this, I will like to say that the One who inspired us to create this political party has showed us the strategy that we need to come out of our present state of poverty. He is the only One who has the right medication for this malaria we have been suffering from for so long. We will reveal this to Cameroonians during the official inauguration of our party after we must have gone round the whole country. But for the main time, the Lord wants us firstly to make Cameroonians understand and apply the spiritual recommendation He has given us, without which any further step taken will be of no avail. We cannot do all of these with our own strength, but with Him everything is possible. He has promised to help us, only if we are willing to open our hearts, cry unto Him, and welcome Him.

I will not conclude without saying a word about ELECAM. This institution charged with the organization of elections in our Country is of no threat to us despite all its flaws. Even if the organization of election in our Country this time around is handed over to ONEL or even MINAT, it will not change anything because when God opens a door, nobody can close, and when He closes, nobody can open it. He has opened the door of our liberty and nobody can close it. Consequently, we are calling on all Cameroonians of voting age, to massively register for the forth coming elections and vote the CPP Party to Power. Nobody can dare to steal our victory for it is coming from the Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth.

Conclusion N° 1

The Contest between Elijah and the Prophets of Baal

“And Elijah came to all the people, and said ‘How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, follow him.’ But the people asked him no word.”

 I Kings 18:21

The situation that is prevailing in our country at the moment resembles the one the children of Israel were going through in the days of Elijah the Prophet of God. During that time the children of Israel had abandoned their God and were serving the god Baal.

In the midst of all these, God raised his prophet Elijah to demonstrate to them that the god Baal, that they were serving couldn’t hear nor answer their prayers. During the contest that Elijah had with the prophets of Baal, God demonstrated that he was alive, that he hears and answers prayers; contrary to the god Baal that the children of Israel were serving at that time.

Some of us who have had the privilege of living during the first and second Republics of our country can confirm that the moral standard of our Country has gone down since the advent of this second Republic.  Most of us Cameroonians, instead of serving the living God, we are serving the god Baal whom we can term: occultism, witchcraft, sacred sects, immorality, bribery and corruption, embezzlement and so on. This does not mean that these ills did not exist during the first Republic, but that during this second Republic, they have gone from bad to worse.

This is the reason why, because of the special concern God has on our country, and as an answer to our prayers, he has come down and he is asking us to chose this day whom we will like to serve, him the living God or the god Baal that we have been serving all along.  In case we decide to turn away from the god Baal to serve him, we should be prepared to effect a complete change of mentality in one attitude and ways of life.  On our own, we cannot do this and God being aware of this has come down to help us.

We will continue to insist on the fact that the present Regime, when it came to power, it promised Rigour and Moralization, but we are noticing that these concepts have instead taken a downward trend in our country. You cannot give what you don’t have.  If we are proposing a change of mentality for Cameroonians, it’s because the God who inspired us to create this party, the CPP is the only living God that can help us change from our bad habits.  The only requirement is that we desire it.

What God has proposed in his heart to do in Cameroon, and has revealed it through his servants, He will do it, irrespective of our weaknesses. The only thing we have to do is to humble ourselves, turn from our evil ways, seek his face and pray.

CHAPTER 17

Conclusion No 2

WHAT IF I DIDN’T REALLY HEAR FROM GOD BUT DID ALL THESE THROUGH MY PERSONAL AMBITION ?

There is a story in the book of   Numbers 25:6-13  that I will like to use in order to illustrate what I am talking about here.

In this story the children of Israel during their journey from Egypt through the wilderness, came to the land of Moab. The women of this country were very attractive to them to an extent that they started committing prostitution with them. The anger of the Lord was kindled against them and He decided to kill those that were guilty. As the children of Israel were weeping at the tabernacle of meetings, one of the Israelites passed and showed them his Moabite woman and took her to his tent and went to bed with her. Now another Israelite called Phinehas, son of Eleazar, son of Aaron the Priest saw it and moved from the congregation and took a Jameline and went into the tent where they lay and thrust both of them through. So the plaque that had started killing the children of Israel stopped. This is what the lord said to Moses concerning Phinehas: “Phinehas the son of Eleazer, the son of Aaron the Priest, has turned back my wrath from the children of Israel, because he was jealous with my zeal among them so that I did not consume the children of Israel in my zeal. Therefore say, ‘Behold I give to him a covenant of an everlasting Priesthood because he was zealous for his God and made atonement for the children of Israel.’”

The present situation in our country Cameroon is such that the vast majority of Cameroonians are living in abject poverty while just a handful is swimming in opulence and abundance. It is this minority that is manipulating people to be sending motions of support day after day to the Head of State asking him to stand for another term of office so that they may continue to swim in their opulence while a vast majority of Cameroonians is suffering in misery and poverty.

In addition to this, it has been proven without reasonable doubt that this country is being led by occultic powers and the conscience of the leaders seam to be so seared that they continue to show no sign of sympathy to the sufferings and misery of Cameroonians.

In the midst of all this, any person with the heart of Phinehas will arise, take his Javelin and go into the tent of this immoral Israelite and thrust it into his body together with his Moabite woman.

If on the Day of Judgment the Lord refuses that He didn’t lay any burden on his heart to create a political party in order to glorify His name in Cameroon, He may at least give that person the same reward that he gave to Phinehas.   

CHAPTER 18

Conclusion No 3

EVEN ALONE, WITH GOD, YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

“God sent me ahead of you to rescue you in this amazing way and to make sure that you and your descendants survive.”

Gen. 45:7

The above statement was made by Joseph, the son of Jacob to his brothers when he revealed himself to them in Egypt where God has raised him to the second position in power. We remember that they were twelve of them, the children of Jacob, the only family that knew and worshiped the only living God at that time when the entire world was a group of Idol worshippers. At this time, God was still in the process of raising a people that will know and worship Him, the only living God. He started with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and then the twelve children of Jacob of whom Joseph was the eleventh.

For one reason or the other, the elder brothers of Joseph sold him into slavery in Egypt. In the whole of that land, Joseph was the only one who knew the only living God. All the others, starting from the smallest right up to King Herod himself were idol worshippers. Because of the mere fact that Joseph was a servant of the living God and had His Spirit, the fact that he was a slave did not matter. God was with him right from the house of Potiphar to the prison from where He took him right up to the throne of Egypt.

This political party, the Cameroon Party of Promise (CPP) that was created through the inspiration of God finds itself in the political arena of Cameroon at this point in time in like manner as Joseph found himself in Egypt. Among all the more than 200 political parties in Cameroon, to the best of our knowledge, none of them can also boast of being created through divine inspiration. God has not changed. In the same manner as He glorified His Holy Name in that idolatrous land of Egypt through His servant Joseph, He is about to do the same thing in Cameroon through the Cameroon Party of Promise.

CHAPTER 19

Final Conclusion.

When I started putting all what you have just finished reading on paper, I hardly knew God intended it to be a book. The first paper that I wrote was entitled, “Message to the Church”. Here I was merely trying to awaken the minds of the Christians in Cameroon on what God is about to do in Cameroon, Africa and the rest of the world.

The second paper I wrote was still a message to the church, but this time I was paying more attention to myself and by so doing, trying to remind each and every one of us individually that in the same manner that God used David, the smallest of his family to conquer Goliath, the enemy of Israel at that time, he can also use us individually to conquer the Goliath of our country, Cameroon that we can call Evil.

In the next paper that I wrote to the Moslems, I was merely trying to tell the Moslem Community of our country that we are not fighting against anybody, that we love everyone, that what God is about to do in Cameroon is going to be for the good of everyone irrespective of belief; that our desire is that, they, along with all Cameroonians of good will, should join hands with us and build a Cameroon of Unity, love, tolerance, peace and prosperity. Our belief is that only the God we serve can be able to help us achieve this aim.

In the other paper that I wrote to the Youths of Cameroon, I was trying to tell them not to lose courage. As a matter of fact, the present state of our country can give room for discouragement and frustration. In the light of what God is about to do in our country now, there is room for hope. The only thing I am advising them is not to copy some of the bad habits of their elders and parents, but try to pay more attention on their studies as well as their moral and spiritual growth.

          The Part II of this book is entitled, “Revelations about Cameroon”. In the first chapter of this part, God is revealing to   us as a reminder that Cameroon is a Land of Promise. The second chapter is talking about the significance of the number “3”. Here God is telling us that even in our forest, He has put his mark showing the particular interest he has on Cameroon. Here the Lord also gives us some indications on how the succession to Power in Cameroon shall be taking place. In the last chapter of this part, the Lord is demonstrating his supremacy on the affairs of Cameroon; how he had planned right from the foundation of the Earth that this Political Party, the CPP which is going to bring about the liberation of Cameroon would be created, through his inspiration this year of the Jubilee of Cameroon’s independence. Remember that the word Jubilee stands for freedom and restoration.

          In the 10t\h chapter, the Lord is asking us to tell Cameroonians that his hand writing is on the wall concerning the things that will soon be unfolding in our Country in the days ahead. In chapter 11 we are trying to give answers to some pertinent question that Cameroonians have been asking themselves; this is in line with the revelations the Lord has made to us.

 The third part of the book is a compilation of important documents that have marked the life of the Party since it’s creation. Firstly, the speech of the national coordinator of the Party during it’s constituent assembly on Saturday, 1st Nov.2008 in Nkwen, Bamenda. Secondly, a prayer of repentance for Cameroon; prayer that shall be said during most of our rallies. Thirdly is another allocution of the national coordinator of the Party on Saturday the 6th of February 2010 after the legalization of the Party. Lastly is  the preliminary statement made by the national coordinator during the inaugural press conference of the party  on the 6th of October 2O11.

The last part of the book contains the conclusions that the Lord has laid on my mind as far as this book is concerned.

 It was not until I had written the paper on “Cameroon, a land of Promise?” that the lord revealed to me that the title of this book was to be “A party of Promise for a Land of Promise”

This is the same strategy the Lord is using in this mission he has given to us. He told us to create a Political Party that he will be used to glorify his Name in this country. We don’t know how far this will take us. It will mostly depend on the reaction of Cameroonians. As I have already mentioned before, if we receive this message with humility, repentance and prayer, God will forgive us and heal our land. But if not, God will judge our country and condemn us in His righteousness, but with the merit of having warned us. In either case we will have our conscience clear because we shall have done just what the Lord has called us to do.
